PQube has released a new gameplay trailer for 2Dark, revealing the dangers players will face in their quest to rescue the children from certain doom.
As the press release reads, ex-detective Smith will risk his life to come to the aid of abducted children as he confronts deadly traps created by merciless psychopaths.
“Whether it’s Antonio Petronelli the clown or Dr. Ernest Miguele, each serial killer saves his share of horrible surprises for players.”
2Dark is a stealth horror adventure game from Frédérick Raynal, creator of Alone in the Dark, that promises to test your thinking skills to the limit.
The game’s Steam storepage has also revealed that this new adventure game will be using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech.
2Dark is currently planned for a March 17th release.
Enjoy!

The money they wasted on Denuvo could have been used on the game itself.
True, mafia 3 has sol over 400k and its not even good.
Did mafia 3 have Denuvo, cuz it got cracked on day one (and i’m still not interested in pirating it, sad!)
No Mafia III had just steam DRM so it got cracked ASAP just like Fallout 4.
No denuvo, cracked day 1, bad game, still sold. Seems piracy is not the reason some games dont sell but others do.
To be fair, 400k isn’t that much, but compared to other denuvo games it’s on the same league
its horrific
Cause it’s Mafia. And had it been good, it would’ve sold millions.
How to make a indie game more atractive?
Hmmm….. i know! Let’s put Denuvo on it!
How to cripple your sales as an indie dev, step 1…
I like the top down perspective but the animations are horrible, i hope it has good puzzles because the combat is clearly gonna be bad.
“Denuvo is dead”
But, but, I wanted to pirate this “I never heard of and have no intention to play” game so much. At least they’ll get some PR out of this and maybe that was the original intent.
Not sure if you’re trolling. There’s a million reasons to dislike DRM other than wanting to pirate. I’ve been following this game since the day it was announced. Now I’m glad I couldn’t contribute to its crowdfunding campaign at the time. If it ever removes Denuvo I’ll purchase it. Until then I have plenty of horror games to go through.
This game kinda remind the Dreamweb from Amiga…
Denuvo should just make games and cut out the middleman.
Looking forward to it.
And hopefully he makes his money back.
OH NOES! Instead of investing in the game or in a good marketing campaign, let’s make sure pirates that never heard of this game cannot play it! do they really think their games are not selling because of pirates? instead of, you know, market oversaturation, lack of originality and so on?
Re7 called to say good luck with that. i mean is it really needed for games like this, seems like initial sales windows for something like this makes it really not worth it.?
LOL an Indie Dev manages to pay Denuvo 150,000? How to waste money 101.
Price for less than 100k units sold is 10.000 euros, so it’s a pretty good option for indies.
They also have a plan that costs 2.5k upfront and then 0.15 cents per unit sold in Steam.
And cracked on day one.
Some of them, yeah. According to a quick google search 35, maybe 40% of Denuvo protected games were cracked. The rest are still protected.
DRM has a net negative effect on sales. Serves no purpose other than to fill the coffers of Team Denuvo. Great sales job by Denuvo given it’s so pretend.
Actually it uses a voxel editor for everything. I remember you could get access to the editor if you gave a certain amount of money during their crowdfunding campaign. Also it is a bit retro considering the creator is mostly known for the original Alone in the Dark. Frédérick Raynal hasn’t really worked on a ton of games.
