STEEP – Open Beta 4K Screenshots

STEEP’s open beta phase is a go and below you can find some 4K screenshots from it. This beta build allows players to discover the diversity of Steep’s world by exploring, riding and completing dozens of challenges through three of the seven regions that will be featured in it.

Players will also find nine Mountain Stories – narrative-based contests that will delve deeper into unique moments in the world of Steep – throughout their journey.

Completing these challenges and Mountain Stories will also unlock new gear for players to customise their characters.

The good news here is that STEEP seems to be running great on the PC platform. We’ll talk more about the game’s performance once it’s been fully released, however this beta build left a great impression.

Those interested can download the uncompressed 4K images from here.

Enjoy the screenshots (we’ve also included a screenshot in which we managed to get stuck inside a building. Hooray!

  1. Then I was like “Cool open beta and snowboarding, I’m in! :D”
And Steam was like “Cool man, that will be just 20 gb! :D”

“Oh, I forgot, I have this backlog and stuff, maybe next time :v”

    1. Activities which STEEP depicts are great in real life because there’s some thrill to them. The game, though, is devoid of it. Probably this is why it gets boring so quickly.

  2. Took a shot at it in early Beta before it opened on Steam. This game really is nothing special. As most reviews stated – Clunky controls, Repetitive challenges, No story (you only grind for gear which isn’t even that special to begin with) and some visual shortcuts like no deformable snow on roof tops. Save your money guys and get Mark Mcmorris Infinite Air

    1. All things that you described are typical things found in Ubisoft productions. Nothing new about it. Far Cry/Assasin’s Creed/ had the “towers” The Crew had the same thing as Steep has now, game will be dead soon as all other Ubisoft productions.

      1. Very true. U can always tell that they loose innovative steam in the production of their games. Tbh Steep should of been more like Amped3. Less multiplayer can be better with certain games.

  3. that good news for watchdogs 2 then if it runs so well. I dont care for steep because iti s not fps, action adventure, hack n slash, action rpg or fighting but since iam going to buy watchdogs 2 at release date it is great to see that it will run so good!!
