Battlefield 1 has just been released and below you can find some 4K screenshots from its single-player campaign. Battlefield 1 is powered by the Frostbite 3 Engine and – like Star Wars: Battlefront – takes advantage of photogrammetry.
What’s really spectacular here is that Battlefield 1 almost ran with constant 50fps in 4K – and with Ultra settings – on a single NVIDIA GTX980Ti. This clearly shows how efficient the Frostbite 3 Engine actually is.
We’ll talk more about the game’s performance – in both SP and MP – in our upcoming PC Performance Analysis, so stay tuned for more.
Until then, enjoy the following 4K screenshots. Those interested can download the uncompressed 4K images from here!

Is the campaign long or is it more like a COD thing? Is it worth buying?
It feels longer but if you’re buying it solely for the campaign, probably not. Overall its definitely worth it.
cool thx
Not worth it for the campaign alone. It’s roughly 10 hrs worth, and it’s better than past campaigns for sure, but this is a multiplayer game at heart like always.
thanks!
10h are you kidding? It’s 5h long at best.
Just for the MP it’s 100% worth. Add in the SP which is alright.
its a beautiful snipe fest.
depends on the map, like in every bf game
just like every other bf game to many snipers after playing the beta its why i didnt buy it.i would rage quit if i got sniped that much all the time.
Always takes noobs a while before they get a handle on nullifying the snipers.
omfg. rekt.
I would like to say that i’m suprsingly getting 60 fps at 4k Ultra settings on my GTX 1080 laptop so theirs that.
on sp and mp at ultra? Iam also getting almost 60 fps on ultra 1440p sp that i am currentrly playing but that because i have 970 g1 gaming.
Both single player and multiplayer the driver update surprisingly boosted my performance alot before i was getting 54 fps average now i am getting 60 fps average.
meanwhile on consoles the dynamic resolution can drop down to 160×90(!!!!!) yes you read that right glorious 90p XDDD
ok maybe that just a bug to be fair that will probably be fixed but its just so funny XDDD
The gas grenades and mask-on mask-off is getting really annoying, so are the “battle-pickups”
I’ve noticed that recently my CPU usage when playing the game has gone through the roof, to a point where my frames go one way or the other. This was fine a day before the latest Nvidia driver update.
Welp the new drivers gave me a steady boost of 5-10fps somehow. There must be something else ? Shadowplay maybe?
I don’t use GFE crap or anything else. Before “today’s” driver update, there have been fluctuations with many a gamer’s i5, that being more an issue on EA’s end that Nvidia, but their previous driver was also to blame.
This is my first game i pre order i normally wait 2 to 3 month before before buying too much heat and buzz :p
MSI Afterburner spoils the images. There’s an option to not record the text…
