  1. Bought 3 hours in and i can say it’s a game that will keep people playing for hours. Gorgeous, fun and well optimized!

    1. Same and the campaign i feel is a lot better then 4 and probably even better then world at war. I loved that second mission a lot. Also this game is very optimized. Frostbite 3 engine has done it again.

          1. “I thought it was pretty darn good for COD.”

No it was the WORST cod campaign i ever played, endless respawning enemies, too much even for cod, heavy machineguns with no recoil again even for cod, i bet you like the campaign of this game for the same reason TB hated it, BRRRRAAAA TRRRRRRRRR, heavy armor, kill everyone, look i am a ww1 plane and i got rockets, objective DESTROY ANTI AA, with a plane? wtf? god mode much?

      1. The campaign makes a complete joke out of WW1.

The short intro mission was amazing, but it has absolutely nothing to do with the rest of the game, second mission with the tank crew was mediocre but still ok.
        The others were completely ridiculous.

FFS one of the missions have you play as a soldier with medieval style metal plate armor carrying a huge machine gun while running uphill.

Not to mention that in more than half the campaign they re-used the multiplayer maps with barely any changes.

Everything remotely interesting happens in inexplicably pre-recorded cutscenes at terrible resolution and bitrate.

        1. yay ww1, power armor dude running up hills with machineguns, everyone has automatic weapons, planes with homing rockets capable of destroying anti aa guns….ww1 guys, athenticiy guys.

        2. “Not to mention that in more than half the campaign they re-used the multiplayer maps with barely any changes.”

Typical DICE, honestly. It’s something they picked up from Bad Company, where they actually did it well, & carried over to Battlefield 3 “because cheaper”, & Battlefield 4 in turn.

          1. Except they did heave modifications and most stuff wasn’t in the MP in BF3 and BF4 campaigns.

The final mission in BF1 is the desert map from the Beta, the objectives are in 100% the same places with a couple of added or removed buildings.

You will only notice changes if you look hard for them.
