It appears that Gamestop may have possibly leaked the PC version of Final Fantasy XV. As we can clearly see, the PC logo being included in Final Fantasy XV’s background ad. Whether this is Gamestop’s fault or not remains to be seen. From the looks of it, the store may have leaked the PC version of Final Fantasy XV.
All you have to do is visit Gamestop’s homepage in order to see the ad. We expect Gamestop and Square Enix to update this ad in due time, therefore we captured an image.
My guess is that the PC version of Final Fantasy XV will be announced after the console release. After all, Square Enix has already scheduled other Final Fantasy games to hit Steam this year. In other words, it wouldn’t make sense – from a business perspective – to announce the PC version right here, right now.

oh sh*t get hype
Why does dsog love final fantasy so much?
Because it’s a huge franchise that greatly benefits from the PC platform.
I disagree, You think they will be implement graphic stuff that arent on PS4, then when PS4K comes, they will “remaster” it to 4K res while the PC version will be a barebone port.

stop repeating what others say on the internet please. this is not 2010 or 2013 anymore. from a business perspective, delaying a PC release at this point (with high sales + powerful DRM + proved market) means they are losing a huge amount of money at launch. imagine if they delay the game for 6 months or 1 year on PC. that means they are denying themselves this money for 6 months or 1 year during which they could invest it other projects.
they can do whatever they want of course, but from a business perspective if they want maximum profit, it’s not right.
sounds like you know a lot about game development.
Do you know what effect 6 months to 2 years can have on sales?.
From my pov they would get a week to month sale from me if it’s due this year, if I have to wait 6 months to 2 years then say hello to a very cheap Steam sale and I know I won’t be the only one on that notion.
do you know how much damage releasing an unfinished game will do to sales?
Because it’s definitely going to come out with maximum polish and zero bugs, of course how silly of me, it will factually be the best PC port ever.
so, you have been keeping up with the news then.
it seems like they want to release the maximum polish and zero bugs game after all.
I was being sarcastic, no game these days comes out like that as much let alone zero bugs and polish.
there are exceptions to this like gta 5 for example.
Because GTA 5 PC, was totally another beast, positive reviews helps a lot when many were still to buy it or not. But this is squenix, dont expect too much when it comes to PC exclusive features..
The port should be decent if they have Nixxes do it instead of trying to do it themsevles and if the game winds up being amazing and they manage to build a huge amount of hype with all the extra promotional stuff they’re doing for it then it should still be able to do fairly well on pc.
Besides some that waited for cheap GTA V sales for the long wait, there could have been even more sales if they treated the PC with respect.
? i don’t need to. my comment is business related. last time i checked no matter how hard porting can be, it is not rocket science. with enough manpower and budget it could have been ready for simultaneous release. Square Enix is even producing a movie and released an anime for FF15 with a mobile tie-in coming up. they obviously had the budget to hire more for a simultaneous release and they just chose not to for their own reasons at the time whatever they were.
TBH I think it’s more of a manpower/logistics thing (both of which are costs in and of themselves) rather than a pure product-to-product equation at work here.
My guess is that FFXV will follow a similar path as Type-0 HD did. So, 6 months-ish after the console version and some kind of collaborative marketing effort with a PC hardware company in Asian countries (maybe with MSI again).
ohh yeaahh
I had to turn off Ghostery to see that, holly shhit they have like 30 Ads/Trackers on that page
here is the most recent comment from Tabata regarding PC:
“we are aware of the big call for a PC version. Unfortunately we weren’t able to do simultaneous development on a PC and console version for XV, We had to focus on the console version and our goal was to maximize, optimize everything for the HD consoles. Once that’s done, then we will definitely take a good, hard look at PC and what we need to do, and consider all our options. But right now we aren’t decided, we’re still considering a lot of things.”
of course he already denied any PC version back in December but with this you can be even more sure that there won’t be any simultaneous releases.
fake…pc is dying!
Now why did you have to go feed him?
youre right, i deleted it 🙂 good call
No thanks, games have moved on so much since this series was any good. The last good game I played from them was FF IX.
I mean just look at that character design who the hell can relate to a bunch of J pop emo characters.
Thank goodness western developers have left the Japanese games market behind. Even if it comes to PC it will be the usual poorly optimised and mess of a game.
still not officially announced. just quit begging already.
Square Enix is just waiting feedback on consoles sales. It could be a total disaster there, so why bother porting to PC/STEAM beforehand!
goVEGAN
There is no doubt a PC version is coming, But the question is when will it be released, later this year or sometime next year.
“Square Enix has already scheduled other Final Fantasy games to hit Steam this year. ”
which ones?
Don’t forget SS isn’t complete 100% concrete absolute data, even the creator of SS pointed that out a few times.
