NeoGAF’s member ‘EatChildren‘ has shared some mind-blowing screenshots for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, showing its landscapes from a top-down aerial perspective. EatChildren unlocked the game’s camera and took some aerial shots of Velen/Novigrad, the main Skellige island, and White Orchard. They look phenomenal, so be sure to view them!

I hate this level of aerial surveillance and that definitely
wasn’t me entering that Novigrad brothel yesterday.
It must have been a doppler
How much nudity can one expect in TW3? Full frontal? Or GTA V style?
Nor was it me stumbling out of Crippled Kates…
Saw the thread yesterday, pretty awesome. 🙂
Google Earth !
Just amazing. What a great game in all aspects.
Now looking forward to Cyberpunk 2077!!!
If these shots are indeed “in game” but zoomed all the way out, then yes, pretty cool.
I love the fact that games are getting bigger and bigger. I can’t wait for the first truly open world game where distances are actual, textures are unique, but at the same time procedural so that you never have invisible walls.
Imagine playing a game like this, and actually getting lost…
