Chrono Trigger fans, here is something for you today. Michael Barrington has released some screenshots, showcasing Chrono Trigger’s Millennial Fair in Unreal Engine 4. As Michael noted, all textures were hand painted in photoshop and 3d Coat. It looks really cool, so be sure to check them out!

I really don’t like jrpg games, but i can say, thats a really really nice remake,
Good job Michael !!!!
I find that jrpg stories and characters tend to be more charming and emotionally engaging than in wrpgs, while wrpgs tend to have better lore and more depth.
JRPG is the only genre that I can’t get into for some reason. I’ve tried over and over again. May be Final Fantasy 15 or Edge of Eternity will change that. I prefer WRPGs because of more rough and realistic look, and older protagonists.
Nice. 🙂
So does your face XD
Looks nice, If only this game would get a full remake.
Looks good and faithful graphically to the original. Im impressed actually.
The nostalgia….I’m going to cry
Screw Enix make this happen.
