    1. it’s not that hard. On dec. 8th , they release (digitally), the first few missions. Through 2016 , they release the rest as it is created. Finished hard copy of ALL the material , end of 2016.

        1. I think because they are going back to their roots with this game and devs are not confident enough that a pure non linear stealth game will sell much.

          1. METAL GEAR 5 sales will show them that stealth linear games can sell very well especialy on pc because we pc gamers like more those challengining games like stealth games while consolek kids prefer more the action without challenge games.

          2. IDK about that, streamlining games doens’t make it sell better marketing does! Plus if it doesn’t sell as well, I think by that point, it would be too late to make a difference.

  1. Maybe it’s just the lighting but it seems like they changed his face to make him look older, compared to how young he looked in the alpha.

    1. Yeh I agree, the animations look kinda stiff in that alpha leaked footage. Hopefully it’s just a premature look and the animations do look better. Animation and fluidity would be important for a game about being sneaky.

          1. Well graphics are “meh” for now but about story line, well… it’s Hitman what else can you do?

    1. I believe they have both. They have an overarching storyline but it takes a back seat to prioritizing level design and just thinking of creative ways to kill your target.

  2. There’s something I have noticed about the Next-Gen only games, and I don’t know if it’s just me, or anyone else has that feeling, but doesn’t the colors look somewhat washed out/dull? I feel like last gen, the colors in games were stronger, more vibrant.

    1. Perhaps because previous gen games had lower quality lighting effects? I’m not so sure, but crushed blacks were prevalent in previous gen games due to lack of taxing light sources/illumination and to hide low quality aspects. This gen, lighting is better so there is less ‘black and white’ and more gradients of lighting.

        1. Perhaps it’s down to the techniques used. PC version has the better quality version of a technique, but the aesthetic of said technique remains the same between the games of a generation. When said technique is replaced by other technologies like more Ambient Occlusion and global illumination instead of a simple shadow, that’s when real differences come about I guess.
