The only game from EA that is getting me hyped as f*ck. Don’t screw it up DICE, please, just don’t!
Tomorrow you said yesterday, so just don’t!
Watched EA press conference just before and I wasn’t let down. Looking forward to February 2016!
that was brilliant !
A grappling hook? Oh fück off.
Why not? ME wasn’t exactly realistic. As long as its range doesn’t make everything trivial I’m fine with the idea.
Where did i mention realism?
I thought this was a freerunning/parkour game and not the next Batman.
You know they won’t just put it in the game as a purely optional gadget, they will design crap with it in mind and force you to use it at several points in the game.
I say realism, you say “about parkour”. Tomato, tomahto. Mirror’s Edge was never authentic to parkour. Most critically horizontal wallruns are an entirely fictional technique borrowed from Prince of Persia. Horizontal wallruns don’t work in real life, the wall would have to be slanted and coated in sand-paper or something. If ME levels are designed around horizontal wallruns from Prince of Persia then why can’t MEC be designed partly around a grappling hook from Tenchu / Lost Planet / Batman? Because it’s a tool? Faith wears gloves (also BS, real traceurs never wear gloves) and shoes, those are tools, and in the first game she used firearms.

Too effin awesome! BRILLIANT!
I’m ashamed to say that I haven’t finished the first one to the day. :/
