Unreal Engine 4-Powered “Descent: Underground” Gets New Trailer, Promises Epic Single Player Campaign

Descendent Studios has released a new 60fps trailer for its Unreal Engine 4-powered upcoming Descent title, Descent: Underground. In addition, the team has announced that the game will feature a Single Player campaign mode. That’s definitely good news as this game was originally focused on Multiplayer matches.

Descent: Underground promises to pack a puzzle-solving single-player experience of the original Descent games. Descent: Underground’s initial release will include an engaging single-player campaign that serves as a prologue to the full game.

Descent: Underground’s Kickstarter campaign ends in 23 hours and it’s very close at hitting its initial goal of $600K.

Enjoy!

  1. The people who pledged don’t give a crap about the multiplayer, they only pledged because they were told single player would be added later. If they had launched the Kickstarter with a focus on a single player campaign I bet they would’ve made a couple million dollars at least.

  2. So far Descent Underground looks generic artistically speaking. I don’t believe modern graphics will do well for this game. I really prefer the colorful blocky 90’s visuals and smaller corridors/rooms over the dark empty spaces bathed on deph of field and lighing effects.
