Deus Ex: Mankind Divided – First Details & Screenshots Leaked, To Be Officially Unveiled Tomorrow

You know what? We all asked for this. And Square Enix heard our prayers. And tomorrow the big publisher will officially unveil its next Deus Ex title called Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. And below you can read the first leaked details. And you can also enjoy the first leaked screenshots.

Adam Jensen will return in this new Deus Ex game (and Elias Toufexis will once again lend his voice to the protagonist). In Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Adam Jensen is a member of an Interpol-funded task force that is tracking down augmented terrorists.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will offer – as its predecessor – both stealth and action gameplay options. The game will be powered by the Dawn Engine, and the enemy AI will be improved.

Naturally, players will have more tools (augmentations) at their disposal.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will be officially revealed tomorrow at 9 am PT/12 pm ET/6 pm CEST.

Until then, enjoy the first leaked screenshots

Oh, and here is hoping that Michael McCann will once again handle the game’s score!

    1. Weird, I thought that filter went pretty well with the game. Quite different and striking from other cyberpunk games.

  1. Great! I’m a big fan of HR. I went back and played it recently and it’s not as good a game as I remembered, probably because I loved the atmosphere so much. It was kind of the closest game to Blade Runner we ever got (even closer than the Blade Runner game that we did get).

    1. I’ve beaten HR multiple times, went back and started playing it again about a couple months ago, I did not have your problem, still thought it was awesome, and funny enough was wishing that they’d release another game, and lo and behold…

      1. It wasn’t a problem – I still played it through to the end and enjoyed it – just an observation. I often go back and play old games and marvel at how much my own tastes have changed, or try to understand my mindset back then. HR was the right game at the right time, but a lot has changed since then. 🙂

  2. So glad Adam is the main character again. Can’t wait to hear the soothing gruff of Elias Toufexis’ voice.

  3. great art design like the last one, tressfx3 and a good level design. i’m sold.

    PS: please be optimized.
DXHR – bought it, had a GTX 280 and Q6600, 4gb ddr2 ram. game ran ok.
DXHR – bought DC, had a GTX 660ti and i5 3570k, 8gb ddr3 ram, game ran at 19fps at max. until i deleted a reg file about AMD and it goes back to 60fps again.

    1. As much as I would like to see what TFX3.0 had to offer I don’t think we will see that until the next Tomb Raider is on PC.

      1. i guess DXMD will release next year and after TombRaider, and if i’m not mistaken they showcased TressFX3 on adam jensen’s hairs. there was a picture about that in DSOG

    2. I had 2500k 3,3ghz 4gb ram and 8800 gt when it was released DXHR released. I played it on 1024p and the game played well enough on max settings. Now i have Core i5 2500k 3,3ghz GTX 970 G1 GAMING 4 GB 12 GB DDR 3 1600 MHZ. Cant wait to play it at 4K DSRI max settings 60 fps!

  4. So it is a sequel? I wonder how shopped those bullshots are, judging by last time… also make it playable in fps, the aiming in fps mode was attrocious.

  5. Those are target renders and artworks, don’t expect the game to look exactly like that. Still excited though, hopefully the in-game color palette will be closer to the artworks this time.
Meanwhile I invite anyone to check jim2point0’s ENB/sweetfx gallery of Human Revolution : https://flic.kr/s/aHsjCL53nf

    1. It will be. The question is on what settings? But it’s a console game so all settings will look the same any way.

      1. I plan on running the highest quality settings I can possibly run in 1440p and I feel like Mankind Divided might actually have a big difference, like they’re gonna do what they can with consoles of course, and I commend them for that, but I know it’s gonna be awesome on PC, I bought HR for both PS3 and PC, played through it multiple times on PC and once on PS3, and it was solid on PC, so I don’t expect that to change.

        1. But the settings really don’t make a difference there. It’s a great example because the PC really only has higher res textures, higher render resolution and higher framerates. MD will not be held back by last-gen hardware so that’s good. I still doubt there will be major differences. Maybe tressFX but you’ll only see that when you’re in third person or when you come close to NPCs.

  6. These are clearly heavily retouched in photoshop. Shame, I would rather see jaggedy, raggedy work in progress shots than unrealistic bullshots.
I like the implication of “Silencer 1” etc. though, multiple choices for the same slot, just like Crysis. And there’s objects flying around, more physical interactivity is always good.
