That’s why I never play these games upon release. Nice Patch!
Thank you Techland you did an amazing job so far with patches MAX OUT 60+ FTW!
U*bisoft F*uck off and learn from Techland and yes here i am talking about FC4 dev team!
Idiot.
Ubi boy.
I actually hate Ubisoft
Technical : improved overall game performance
Wtf that means? Is that another ninja downgraded? There is a lot of user reporting that max settings are different now in ini settings. In example, if the draw distance was set in game at max, on ini file the value was reflected as 100. After patchs if you set max draw distance in game at max, now on ini file it reports 70.
Apparently the max draw distance was overkill and just murdered the framerate even on high end graphics cards, while it didn’t add anything really noticeable. Worse, the high quality lods produced more aliasing at a distance.
The draw distance impacts CPU performance…not GPU.
The game sucks at multi-threading, it’s their fault, they didn’t implement it well enough.
I put the draw distance all the way down and haven’t noticed a difference in-game.
Just because they have the option doesn’t mean it was implemented correctly.
Its easy to notice the change on draw distance. If you played the 1.0 version and you cant noticed the difference (big one) then you must check your vision.
Optimisation is not downgrading. I dont care if its a good game or not. (Actually i really like it) the point is that many of us are tired of lazy devs and everytime i read a comment from an user defending a lazy studio its an insult. Check the last comment of assassin creed. There is a lame person insulting at everyone talking bad about ubisoft. Lol lame
If thechland fu#$ up some settings they NEED to say what was changed on the ini.
I know my hardware. This is PC GAMING. i want patch notes. Otherwise we will end like console gamers… playing what devs want the way devs want. The nerf the devs want.
You’re right, of course. But what I meant to say was that i found myself not caring about the draw distance because how far you can see has no gameplay benefit. There are no sniper rifles that I am aware of. Combat is mostly done directly in front of you.
For a game like Far Cry 4 or Watch Dogs the distance view is important, but not in Dying Light.
Now that’s how you do patch notes, Ubisoft.
Please more patches. Add more new things please. New groups of people who you can help.
Also please bring Jade back to life.
