Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes – First PC Footage To Be Unveiled This Sunday, Advertised As TWIMTBP Title

Metal Gear Solid fans, get ready for a treat. It appears that the first PC gameplay footage for Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes will be unveiled this Sunday. NVIDIA will hold an event in Akihabara, and it is advertised that Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes PC will be shown for the first time.

Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes is advertised as a TWIMTBP (The Way It’s Meant To Be Played) game. Even though the green team has not revealed anything yet about it, we could see some specific PC/NVIDIA features like HBAO+.

During this event, Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes will – most probably – be shown running in 4K with a GeForce GTX 980 3-Way SLI system. That, or the game will support up to 3-way SLI configurations.

Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes releases on November December 18th, and Konami promised to reveal the official PC requirements really soon.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

    1. Yeah im with you on that thought. Although its kind of a catch 22 situation because if people dont buy it on PC then they will think that there isnt a market on PC. Personally I recon they should just release GZ for free with MGSV or use it as a free demo on Steam to get more people interested in buying MGSV when it comes.

      1. When I was a child, bored at school, I used to take two pens and pretended that they where two fighters, and had a ton of fun with my imagination. And it didn’t cost me $30.

I totally get what you meant but: Fun is subjective. This price isn’t.

        1. Yeah if only people could stop buying $60 s**t ports by Ubisoft and then complain about them repeatedly year after year I would think people actually cared about the price.

I’m just saying, a lot of people say the ‘demo’ has tons and tons of replay value. But yes the price is quite steep, that said it if does turn out to be more fun* then yeah I would say that’s money well spent.

          * Yes fun is subjective but so it just about anything, being pedantic and pointing it out isn’t a very good argument. It was meant in a very general sense.

        2. no dude today you got a online service screwing your fps for the sake of having locked chests that cannot be opened unless you download a app to your phone and microtransactions to upgrade your character because “cheats” is so “dated” as “game design”

Yes i am talking about unity.

At some point people will have to ask themselfs if the prices they pay for games and crap within those gamaes nowdays are worth it.

      1. ehmm that the price should be lower and not be released for the full brand new price it has when it was released and was also trashed because of it.

Apparently people keep pointing out the problem, didnt lead to getting the problem fixed…so lets keep pointing out until konami gets it.

        1. I agree in which it should be a bit cheaper, perhaps $19.99 would be more fair – but it also is a truth that they decided to port the game over to PC and for whatever effort/time/money it consumes, I don’t really think it’ll sell an alarming amount and hey, they think it’s worth that much, if people buy it then it shows the audience as gullible and able to fork over that money and can’t resist waiting. If no one buys it and it gets targeted by justice-warriors who demand it cheaper then they’d lower the price. Konami is retarded in gauging consumer interest. lol.

Only the other hand, Konami’s effort/greed could reference the mistake that will engage pirates. They could pay it for the sake of MGS and its future games or show Konami a lesson by pirating/not buying, the choice is ours.

          1. ill do whatever it takes to keep sillent hill multiplatform. If it turns out as a exlusive ill be really pissed at konami.

          2. Far as what we can tell, Hideo Kojima does horror justice, so, Kojima + Silent Hill + Morpheus = Bricks will be shat. Just imagine you being grabbed from behind like with that lady in P.T. and snapped with her literally infront of YOUR face. Hahahaha

    2. That Demo is already only 20$ on PS4, so expect an even lower price for PC, expect lie a 15$ since is also releasing when the Winter Steam Sales start.

      1. + it contains both exclusive DLCs.i pay to 15$ for it. because i want this game/ specially the phantom pain on my PC.

          1. I am not following it, the more impressive for me, but since is a sequel to the secret ending in peacewalker, i got to chect that game out first.

    3. YOU MAD! Ground zeroes is amazing. I got more game time outta it then most 60$ games. Theres more to do than just the main prologue mission.

      1. Yeah and you can hunt some collectibles for 20 hours in other games too. The game is a 2 hour demo that can be completed in 7 minutes, that’s not worth 30 dollars especially when the actual game will be a hundred times bigger with twice the pricetag.

  1. According with the trend, yes, is going to run on a GeForce GTX 980 3-Way SLI system, but is going to be at 1080p and 30 fps, for an amazing and expensive cinematic experience.

  2. There could be features like Anisoptric filtering and Anti-Aliasing which the console versions don’t have

    (Contain your laughter. Please)

    1. The top joke is that ps4 runs mgs v at 1080p 60 fps and it doesnt run anything else like that, so the devs must suck. If only the peasants knew how many things this game lacks graphics wise….if only.

      1. I saw the draw distance of the PS4 version of FC4. It’s goddamn hilarious. Looks like a N64 game

  3. Well I have faith in Konami. Metal gear Rising ran like a champ on PC even on 50 series cards. Even with 8XMSAA on

    1. you speak about 500series if someone doesn’t know may think it has some plague or something, 580/590s are still damn good cards and MGRR was a last gen game. by the way it should be like this: even on 200 series it ran like a champ, however 200series cards are way more powerful than last gen consoles

  4. Well MGS is a system seller. Im not surprised Nvidia offered to promote it along with their cards. It’s a great win IMO.

  5. 1-The first demonstration will be in 3 hours but it will only last for 15 minutes i’m guessing they are afraid of finishing the demo too quickly XD!

2-If you attend you’ll get a badge so that’s worth something i guess.

3-There is an oculus demo too wonder if its supported by MGSV?

4-Streaming AC: Unity on a shield, here’s hoping they turn off internet connectivity or it wil be a slideshow.

  6. You got what I meant right, but got my intentions wrong (Pedantic?Just no).

You know what got replay value: Everything. Why? Because of the subjectivity of what you like, of what you find fun. If you really like something you already put a value in it.

But this doesn’t change the fact: It’s pricey. And I’ve said “I totally get what you meant”, because I know it was a generalization which, doesn’t change the fact that it needs to be pointed out. Like what you’ve written (allow me to make some changes):

“Yeah if only people could stop buying $$$ s**t ports/rehashed sequels/overpriced DLCs/Micro transactions/seasons passes by [insert publisher] and then complain about them repeatedly year after year I would think people actually cared about the price.

And that’s why I’ve written my reply. The problem is that people are aggregating value on things that needs to be pointed out as bad practices. This isn’t about one Publisher/Dev only, it is about the industry as a whole including us, consumers.

    1. I wasn’t my intention to berate you with ‘pedantic’ I apologize if I came off that way, I guess I’m just jaded.
