New Trailer For Topware’s Raven’s Cry, Shows FRAPS Indicator Of 10FPS

Topware Interactive has released a new in-game trailer for Reality Pump’s upcoming pirate game, Raven’s Cry. What really caught our attention, however, was the FRAPS indicator at the beginning of the trailer. Raven’s Cry was running with 10FPS while recording this gameplay footage, something that isn’t definitely good news for gamers (despite the fact that we don’t know what machine was used to capture this footage). At least, we’re damn sure that: a) the video has been edited to run smoother and b) this gameplay footage is from the PC version. Take a look at the trailer below!

  1. Looks a lot like Risen, probably keep my eye on this. Grapthics look dated like Risen 3 but as long as the world is craft nicely, good quests, exploration and NPC interaction like Risen 3 then I don’t mind.

      1. These studios all can’t blow their budget on motion capture like AAA’s do. 🙂 Problem is, youtube just doesn’t show games in good light on many levels.

  2. This must be before optimizations and driver support? Isn’t optimizing something they should do throughout the production? 10fps is really, really bad.

  3. Loved Two Wolds 2 but man I dunno about this as it looks a lil rough. I’m sure this will get torn apart by reviews.

  4. i justt want to say, its possible the 10fps is not the game but their video editing pipeline. If you edit video using d3d video or direct2d, the fraps FPS ounter can creep in.
