Vertigo Games has announced that The 7th Guest Remake will be released on June 4. To celebrate this announcement, the publisher shared a new trailer that you can find below.
In this game, six guests arrive at a foreboding mansion. The wealthy recluse and toymaker Henry Stauf will lurk in the shadows, and a dark power will hang over the house, shrouded in mystery. As players explore the eerie mansion, the puzzles will grow increasingly challenging, with dangers lurking around every corner. Every shadow, distant creak, and flicker of light will build tension as the house slowly reveals its secrets.
The remake will have newly recorded volumetric video, with live-action performances that are captured in full 3D. Real actors will appear within the world itself, making every encounter feel immediate and unsettling.
The 7th Guest Remake will also come with carefully redesigned and new handcrafted puzzles. Every puzzle will be woven into the story and rooted in the mansion’s lore, with recognizable elements that pay homage to the original.
Finally, the haunted mansion will shift and transform through clever visual effects and optical illusions. As such, players will investigate every creepy nook and cranny, unlock new rooms, and uncover hidden secrets as the horrors within begin to close in.
For what it’s worth, Vertigo Games has not yet revealed the game’s official PC system requirements. As soon as it does, I’ll be sure to share them with you.
Enjoy the trailer!
