Modder ‘QTmodz’ has just released a must-have HD Remaster Mod for the original 2007 Assassin’s Creed game. This mod will overhaul the game’s graphics. As such, it’s a must for those who want to replay it.
Going into more details, this HD Remaster Mod brings HD shadows, HD reflections, and HD Textures to the game. It packs 4K Clouds, and better sky domes. It also improves the quality of all buildings, ground, stone, and vegetation textures. Plus, you’ll get an overall better lighting and better bloom.
From what we know, Ubisoft does not have any plans to remaster this classic Assassin’s Creed game. Later this year, Ubisoft will most likely reveal the remake of Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag. I’m certain that a lot of its fans will be happy about it. But man, I’d really love to see a remake of the first AC game.
On the other hand, I cannot imagine the backlash a remake of the first AC game would get from people. I mean, look at what happened with the Prince of Persia Remake. People went nuts. So, that’s precisely what would have happened with an Assassin’s Creed Remake.
So, I’m curious to see how people will react to the Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Remake. Will Ubisoft make a lot of artistic changes to it? Will they change the faces of the main cast? And will we get comparison videos to highlight each and every change?
Anyway, this is the best HD remaster we will most likely get for AC 2007 in 2026. And hey, at least it’s a free mod. So, if you don’t like it, you can simply skip it. It’s not like it’s mandatory or anything like that.
You can go ahead and download this HD Remaster Mod from this link. At the end of the article, you can also find a video for it. This video shows you how you can install it. It also packs some in-game scenes, giving you an idea of what you can expect from it. I’ve also included some screenshots from it.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
