NACON has revealed the PC requirements and released a PC demo for its upcoming Styx game, Styx: Blades of Greed. This PC demo will allow you try it before purchasing it. Moreover, your demo saves can be transferred to the full game whenever you buy it.
In Styx: Blades of Greed, you will play as, you guessed it, Styx. Hooray. Your goal in this game will be to get your hands on Quartz, the most precious – and dangerous – resource in a world on the brink of war between elves, humans, and orcs.
Styx: Blades of Greed promises to refine the proven formula of the first two games by making freedom and creativity central to the experience. Players will explore vast vertical environments and master new tools and powers.
Players will be able to craft weapons and potions before executing their next scheme. A wide range of abilities will also be at their disposal. For instance, they will be able to use Cloning and Invisibility thanks to their Amber skills. They will also get to use Master Mind Control and Time Shift abilities thanks to Quartz. Plus, there will be multiple ways to solve stealth puzzles. Or at least that’s what the devs claim.
In Styx: Blades of Greed, you will roam freely around three vast open environments. These are The Wall, Turquoise Dawn, and Akenash. The Wall marks the boundary of the human world. On the other hand, Turquoise Dawn is a lush orc village. Finally, Akenash is the ruins of the elven capital.
Players will soar through the skies with their glider, reach inaccessible spots in a flash with their grapple, and scale massive walls with their claws. They’ll also take advantage of the vertical environments to reach their targets.
As said, NACON has also shared the official PC requirements for this new Styx game. To run it, PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 1600X with 12GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060, an AMD Radeon RX 590, or an Intel Arc A750. With this PC system, you will be able to run it at 720p on Low Settings with 30FPS.
For gaming at 1080p on High Settings with 60FPS, you’ll need an Intel Core i5-12600K or AMD Ryzen 7 5800X with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070, or an AMD Radeon RX 6800.
Styx: Blades of Greed is coming to PC on February 19th. You can download the demo from this link.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
