NVIDIA GeForce 581.57 WHQL Driver Released, Optimized for ARC Raiders, The Outer Worlds 2, and Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2

NVIDIA has just released a new driver for its graphics cards. According to the release notes, the NVIDIA GeForce 581.57 WHQL driver offers optimal performance in ARC Raiders, The Outer Worlds 2, and Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2.

ARC Raiders will be released on October 30th. On the other hand, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 and The Outer Worlds 2 will come out on October 21st. All of these games will support DLSS 4. So, if you plan to get them, I suggest using this driver.

The NVIDIA GeForce 581.57 WHQL driver also comes with a number of bug fixes. For instance, it fixes some game stability issues that could be caused by the Steam overlay. It also addresses the random red/green visual glitches that could occur in Hell is Us. Madden 26 will be more stable now with these drivers. As such, the game will not crash as frequently on your PC.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 will no longer display artifacts when starting a game after waking PC from sleep. It should also be more stable now with this new driver. Same goes for Delta Force. According to NVIDIA, the game will be more stable when using Smooth Motion. On top of that, the green team resolved some graphics corruption issues that could occur in Total War: Warhammer III.

From what I can see, there is no mention of the graphical issues that could occur in some Unreal Engine 5 games like Silent Hill f or Mafia: The Old Country. If you’re playing them, I suggest sticking with the 580.88 driver. I was able to finish both of them with that driver, without experiencing any visual artifacts. There is also no mention of a fix for the Anisotropic Filtering issue that plagues all the NVIDIA RTX 50 series GPUs. From what I’ve heard, NVIDIA will add this fix in an upcoming 585.xx driver.

Like always, you can download this new driver from this link. For those wondering, yes. There is still support for Windows 10. Below, you can also find its complete changelog.

    1. The game performance, the world-building, the story, the "RPG elements", or the character design?? 😛

      1. Performance = stutters
        AI = dumb and goofy
        hud = x-ray vision and typical mobile f4ggotry
        Writing = woke, childish and gay

  1. Most of the optmization is for likely DOA political garbage "games", unless proven otherwise – No real need to install unless hit by some other bug that got fixed

  2. Skip this one guys. After installing, I started back up again with constant crashing in all Unreal Engine 5 games after 10-15 minutes of gameplay on my 4090.

    I rolled back to the previous Sept 10th driver ann all crashing issues went away. Another botched and untested driver release from Nvidia.
