Forever Entertainment has launched the Steam store page for Panzer Dragoon Zwei: Remake, revealing its PC requirements. So, let’s see what PC you’ll need to run this upcoming remake.
Panzer Dragoon Zwei: Remake remains a classic on-rail shooter. It will have fast-paced combat where you strike down enemies with both Lundi’s gun and Lagi’s devastating lasers. Players will have at their disposal a Berserk Attack, which can unleash devastating power to turn the tide of battle. Moreover, the game will have branching routes.
The remake will have modern graphics faithful to the original style. It will be similar to Panzer Dragoon: Remake, which came out on PC in 2020. And, from what I can see in a side-by-side comparison, this is a full remake of the game.
To run it, PC gamers will need an Intel Core i5-2200 with 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GTX 970. The game will also require 14GB of free disk space.
The devs recommend using an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GTX 1660 Super.
As you can see, the game will run on a huge range of PC configurations. Still, I strongly suggest tempering your expectations. While this is a full remake, it will not blow you away with its graphics. Below, you can find a comparison video between the original and the remake. As such, it will give you a pretty good idea of what you can expect from it.
There is currently no ETA on when the game will come out. Naturally, though, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

one of the weirdest names for a game
Not for German speakers.
PS2 graphics… By the guys that did the 'House of the Dead' remakes… Not optimistic about this one, too bad.
Somehow this looks worse than the remake of part 1
The fact that they do not show the remake in motion is concerning. The upgraded PS1 era graphics to PS3-era.
An oldie but a goodie. Short game but worth a play through for the music and atmosphere. I bought the first remake but never thought they’d do the sequel (despite their insistence they would). Color me excited.
Did not think much of the first remke the original upscaled on the ps2 Sega Ages 2500 series was good better on pcsx2 upscaled to 4k.
I was reading an old article about the original Sega Saturn release of Panzer Dragoon 2: Zwei only yesterday and wondered if or when the remaster would be arriving. Then I see this news today. Spooky!
