Football Manager 26 feature

Here’s your first look at the new 3D engine of Football Manager 26

SEGA has released a new gameplay video that gives us our first look at the new 3D engine of Football Manager 26. Football Manager 26 will be powered by the Unity Engine, and it will have FIFA-like visuals.

Now, I want to make it crystal clear that FM26 will not be able to compete with EA Sports FC 26. When I said FIFA-like visuals, I meant those that were getting a couple of years ago. So, make sure to temper your expectations. Still, for most Football Manager fans, this will look amazing.

FM26 aims to have smoother player movement, better animations, and more realistic football details. The devs say this will make every match feel more real. The game will use volumetric animations and motion capture taken from real football.

Sports Interactive will share more details about FM 26 in the coming weeks or months. For what it’s worth, there is still no ETA on when the game will come out. Naturally, though, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

      1. That's crazy talk, it looks old, but not ancient…and for this kinda of game focusing on the 3D matches when photorealistic games exist already is kinda pointless.
The game itself will be the same old glorified excel simulator for football, not for me.
