SEGA has announced Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition, the definitive edition of the first Space Marine game. This new version will come with improved graphics, and below you can find its official PC system requirements.
Master Crafted Edition is developed by SneakyBox and it will come with 4K resolution, modernised controls, an interface overhaul, improved character models and remastered audio. Players will experience this third-person shooter set within the grim darkness and ceaseless conflict of the Warhammer 40,000 universe like never before.
Going into more details, the Master Crafted Edition will have the base game and all DLCs. It will also get upgraded to a 64-bit system, something that will improve the game’s stability.
Now as you will see in the following trailer, the game does not come close to Space Marine 2. So, don’t expect a visual parity between them. In other words, this is a remaster of the first Space Marine, and not a remake. As such, you should temper your expectations.
To run the game, PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i5-6400 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 with 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon R9 290X. With such a PC setup, you will be able to game at 1080p/30FPS.
To play at 4K/60FPS, you will need an Intel Core i5-12400F or AMD Ryzen 5 5600x with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 or an AMD Radeon RX 6600. The game will also require 45GB of free disk space.
SEGA will release Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition on June 10th. The game will be available at $39.99 on PC. Do also note that this won’t be a free upgrade to those who already own the game on PC. That’s kind of a bummer.
Anyway, enjoy the trailer and stay tuned for more!

$40 USD for a remaster of an old game seems a bit too much to ask, IMO.
….
They could have improved the lighting a bit.
Not even a discount for owners of the original? I'll wait for a cheap sale then
Before Embracer, THQ gave their remasters for free to owners of the originals, like Darksiders or Red Faction Gerrilla. Thank you Embracer Group.
I'm not paying a cent for a poor remaster, the game barely looks any different from original release.
Is honestly the community fault we get exploited by this greedy companies, even 2K offers free upgrades.
And just 4 years ago we had the Anniversary Edition as a FREE update for the original release for its 10th anniversary, but nooo… gotta milk the simple-minded goyim normies who just throw their shekels at the screen whenever they see the name of a beloved game that they never even played and still won't even play it now because these old games are too masculine for their soy faggot a**es.

Seems like because the game is old, people barely ask about how the game peforms, which is a shame. But even in games like The Sinking City you won't find a single soul comparing peformance between the standard and remaster version, it's all about comparing the graphics, and people wonder why games are unoptimized nowadays.
And the remaster @ excessive prices continue, i hope more stops buying into this obvious milking – Because if you buy into this remaster milking frenzy you are part of the problem that the game industry lack creativity and innovation… because why should they bother when its easier ways to grab money!
They really moved fast on this after the success of Space Marine 2.
Exactly. The execs over at SEGA saw how successful Space Marine 2 was, and thought to themselves, "We still have the rights for Space Marine 1, so how can we capitalize on the current success and hype for Space Marine?" "Oh yeah, let's do a <remaster> and release it to the public for $40."

The first game was very mediocre. I think I got bored after about 1-2 hours when I tried playing it ~13? years ago on PS+, and that's despite me being excited to get into the world having played a bit of Space Hulk as a kid. I don't think a new coat of paint is going to fix the boring gameplay mechanics and environments.
