Now here is something really cool. Konami has announced that its isometric destruction-based action delivery driver, Deliver At All Costs, will be free on Epic Games Store at launch. For one whole week, PC gamers will be able to visit its EGS and acquire their free copy.
In this game, you’ll drive through the city, smashing through buildings and causing chaos in different vehicles. You’ll take on crazy deliveries and missions, each with its own unique challenges.
Players will be able to explore large semi-open environments both on foot and in a vehicle. The game will also have a 1950 art style and music that will pay homage to the classic era.
This looks like a lot of fun. And, as I’ve said, I’m pleasantly surprised that Konami is willing to publish this type of game. The fact that the publisher will also be giving it away for free (at least for a week) is another pro-consumer move. Man, it seems that Konami is doing everything in its power to make PC gamers play this title.
Oh, and there is a demo that you can download right now on Steam, so make sure to check it out. This demo can give you a pretty good idea of what you can expect from it. Finally, you can find its official PC system requirements here.

Irrelevant stuff, my point stands that Steam tapped early a potential market, i remember back then pc gamers would whine a lot about how bad their services where. Nowadays there are dozens of PC stores, if Steam went away, there are dozens of substitutes to choose from.

steam came out in 2004 so it took time to provide services, Epig store came out in 2019 and it didn't have a shopping cart, LOL 👍🤣

I like playing games and not lose my time in chat or forums, there are dozens of gaming forums already, discord, reddit, etc. This is quite irrelevant, i’m not against having these features, but i’ll take free games as a compromise.

I’m trying to understand your motivation for hating on the store, so they run games which i guess it still is the main feature of a gaming store, i’m not of this modern mindset that treats a freaking store like some sort of social media so i don’t really care that much about whatever gimmick is it that you miss LOL 👍🤣

I remember losing like 30 minutes of progress in Death Stranding because of cloud saving, probably something i misread. Local saves are better in any case, i miss the time when it was just a folder in the game directory instead of cryptic localRoamingApp nonsense it is nowadays.
