Sony has just revealed the official PC system requirements for The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered. So, let’s see what PC setup you’ll need in order to run it.
To run the game, you’ll at least need an Intel Core i3-8100 or AMD Ryzen 3 1300X with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 or AMD Radeon RX 5500XT. The game will also require 150GB of free disk space. With this PC setup, you will be able to play at 720p/Low Settings with 30FPS.
For gaming at 1080p/Medium Settings with 60FPS, you’ll need an Intel Core i5-8600 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 or an AMD Radeon RX 5700.
For gaming at 1440p/High Settings with 60FPS, you’ll need an Intel Core i7-9700K or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 or an AMD Radeon RX 6800.
Finally, for playing at 4K/Very High with 60FPS, you’ll need an Intel Core i7-11700 or AMD Ryzen 7 5700X with 32GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 or an AMD Radeon RX 7900XTX.
It’s worth noting that Sony has not listed any upscaler in the PC requirements. So, I guess we are looking at Native Resolution PC Specs.
As we’ve already reported, The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered will support DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Gen at launch. Sony has also confirmed that the game will support AMD FSR 4.0. Sadly, there is no mention of Intel XeSS. So, we can assume that the game will not support it, which is kind of a bummer.
Sony will release The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered on PC on April 3rd.
Stay tuned for more!

Is the TLOU1 totally fixed now?
And still mad that they cancelled the Demon Souls port
Where was it revealed to be cancelled?
*leaked I think
few weeks ago?
Not fixed at all. Just runs a bit better than the launch mess, but it's still a technical PoS.
While it's been running fine for a long time now, the background CPU processing still ends whenever it feels like it. So the game will show high CPU load until suddenly it doesn't.
I consider Batman Arkham Knight a touch better than this TLOU trash. I have never seen a game running under all cores while looking straight at the floor or, at the sky.
It still randomly halves the FPS* without any real reason, but it's playable. I finished it around 4 months ago.
*At least it did with my previous 5800X3D and still current 7900XT…
1440p everything maxed out no upscaling, from 120FPS (locked via either AMD driver or game, I dn't remember) to 60-65 for a bit, then back up to 120.
Man there are just too many games out. I really gotta figure out when Im gonna have time to play this one.
what games outside sh**ty indies worse than a Dreamcast game and trash f2p mmorpgs/fps?
I’m still working through Monster Hunter Wilds and Stalker 2. I got Shadows on the Ubisoft Subsciption Service, but I may drop that. Atomfall, South of Midnight and Clair Obscur Expedition 33 come out within a few weeks. Then this too.
Mate you have an Ubisoft Subscription? save yourself dude.
I just get it for the month when there’s something I want to check out and It’s cheaper than spending a whole $70+ Tax. I got it for Outlaws and enjoyed that, this one I’m more kinda mixed on but it’s still pretty early.
As much as I love Nixxes, the Spider-Men 2 port was underwhelming. On paper these specs are reasonable, the question is how optimized this port will be?
according to many reports, tloou2 pc port was completed way back in November 2023, it was held off most probably to align with HBOs Season 2, if this is to be believed the game should be polished af.
These specs are nowhere near reasonable, especially the GPU section. This is a PS4 game & they are asking RTX 3060 for Med, 1080p@60fps? That makes no sense.

I'm buying this game only because of Abby, her story is very thought provoking and beautiful. I hope this game finds a way to get rid of the other girl so we'd end up with Abby as the main protagonist for last of us 3 & 4.
Mmmm you love T4rannies a lot, make t4rannies great again
That word is transphobic, be very careful next time you're posting a comment.
I liked the specs until you get to very high and says you need a 7900xt for 4k60.
This doesn't look good at all. The GPU requirement is a joke. This is a PS4 game & their GPU requirement scales horribly. From Low 720p@30 to Med 1080p@60, GTX 1650 to RTX 3060!!!??? That is insane.
