Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines RTX Remix Alpha

Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines RTX Remix Remaster Alpha 0.0.1 Released

Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines fans, here is something for you today. Modder ‘Safemilk’ has just released an alpha version of his RTX Remix Mod for this classic RPG.

As with all the RTX Remix Mods, this one will add Full Ray Tracing/Path Tracing to Bloodlines. However, since this is an alpha release, it may have numerous visual glitches. Also, it’s not representative of what RTX Remix can achieve. At least in its current state. I mean, even the modder calls it a “rough” release.

For instance, VTM:B uses the alpha channel as an emissive mask for many textures in the game. So, the modder did a rough pass of converting these to emissive maps and applying them to their corresponding textures. So now the things that should light up, should light up.

In short, you should temper your expectations. This mod is still in a very early dev stage. So, don’t expect it to look as polished as some of the other Path Tracing Mods we’ve shared. Still, this is a start.

You can download Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines RTX Remix Remaster Alpha 0.0.1 from this link. Make also sure to read its installation instructions.

In these past few months we’ve shared a lot of RTX Remix Mods for various games. In January 2023, we shared several RTX Remix Mods that are in the works. As such, you can take a look at screenshots and videos for Tomb Raider 2,  Grand Theft Auto: Vice CityManhunt, and Garfield Kart RTX Remix. Then, in February 2024, we shared videos for Need for Speed: Most WantedUnrealTony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4 and Midnight Club 2. In March 2024, we also shared the first screenshots from the RTX Remix Mod for Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines. Finally, you can check out some early RTX Remix videos and screenshots for Fallout: New VegasTom Clancy’s Splinter CellCOD 2, and Half-Life.

Speaking of Path Tracing Mods for older titles, you might also want to check out the following ones. Modders released demos for their Path Tracing Mods for Deus ExTomb Raider, and Call of Duty 4. Do note that the COD4 Mod is a “proof of concept” demo, and it does not look that great. Let’s also not forget the RTX Remix for COD: WoW. And then we have the RTX Remix Mods for NFS: Underground and Underground 2. Oh, and don’t forget to give a go at this RTX Remix for Unreal Tournament 2004. In September 2024, we also shared a new version of the RTX Remix Mod for Max Payne. Finally, you can download Path Tracing Mods for DoomDoom 2Quake, and Serious Sam.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

  1. John, it's really time you ban that spamming troll below, WCCFCucks.
    I bet it's one of those non-binary Harris-supporting freaks who can't accept Trump's re-election. 😀👍

    1. Instead of begging you should be suckling. Use your lips not your words! You have done unthinkable things sister! Oh god!

    2. Maaaybe unless John can shadowban him, where only the user sees his comments and no one else does, it's against the site interest to block a frequent visitor (likely has adblocking, but oh well). But he'll eventually realize when no one interacts with him, make another account, and keep spamming.
And then there's the everything-goes comment policy, voted by the community… It's kind of a cesspool, but oh well again.
That's why you're only left with just blocking the trash, which also was John's suggestion in similar cases.

      1. It's too late. She has been beaten, spit on, spanked, impregnated, killed, and tortured while begging for mercy and screaming my name. God Bless A.I!

    4. I think they troll other sites too. Let them talk junk. If they stay here maybe they'll learn something about freedom and free speech. And then maybe they'll learn something about manners. And just join in to a constructive conversation. It's likely not but I always try to hope that there's some good in people.
The true haters are on the left now. Anybody with a brain will realize that. And you can ban me for saying that if you want. I used to be on the left. I was hated out of my own party.
      Happy gaming. Peace.

  2. I called Dookie Dookie a vurgin for creaming over lego women. The straw that broke the camels back, dookie blocked me. Let it be known throughout all the land, Durka Dookie is a vurgin!

Great looking mod by the way!

  3. I was just thinking about this game and remix earlier this week. It would be great if somebody can pull this off.
But, I thought that no one was allowed to modify this game anymore when it comes to remastering or retexturing or anything like that.
Wouldn't Remix be considered a remaster or something like that?
Paradox didn't want anyone messing with the game like that. Unless something changed that I'm unaware of.
