2K Games has announced that the PC will finally get the New-Gen version of NBA 2K25. Moreover, the publisher shared the game’s official PC system requirements which you can find below.
With NBA 2K25, players will forge a dynasty in MyCAREER, compete in new MyTEAM modes, and, for those on New-Gen platforms, players will also experience an added sixth era in MyNBA, a more compact and interactive City, along with the chance to cement their G.O.A.T. status in The W. In addition to new updates in MyCAREER and MyTEAM, players on Current-Gen will experience an all new Neighborhood metropolis to explore where they will complete quests, earn rewards and eclipse their rivals.
Powered by the advanced ProPLAY tech, NBA 2K25 New-Gen aims to give players the most realistic basketball experience ever. If you have a powerful enough PC, you’ll be able to fully take advantage of ProPLAY. You can also play in different modes like MyNBA, The W, and The City. However, crossplay is only available on the latest consoles.
PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i3-9100 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 with 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 or AMD Radeon RX 570 or Intel Arc A580. The game will also require 150GB of free disk space. Also note that to run NBA 2K25 on PC, you’ll need a processor capable of supporting AVX2 and a graphics card capable of supporting DirectX feature level 12.0.
Visual Concepts recommends using an Intel Core i5-10600 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600X with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 or AMD Radeon RX 5700 or Intel Arc A770. The devs also recommend using an SSD.
2K Games will release NBA 2K25 on PC on September 6th.

It only took them 5 years. Will probably still be infested with cheaters, nothing like playing against a dude that can't be blocked and hit every shot from everywhere. One of the worst purchases I ever let my friends made me do, and that was at 90% off.
cheating in 2k is so crazy because its so blatant and they dont care unless it has something to do with people "stealing" from the shop. its a real damn shame people dont support live or another basketball sim type game.
There is no other bball sim to support. Although it's badly needed because 2K won't actually try otherwise.
they finally figured out how to guarantee people buy the special editions. I doubt anyone wants a copy with taybum on it. If i were still buying 2k, id def cop for vince or aja over the potential waster.
Very few black people can afford a gaming PC. What's the point of this port? blacks and PC gaming go together like oil and water.
Yeah Shock the Monkeys!
it's about dam% time!
Casino2K25. NBA is a inside mini game.
And prices in the high 80s…
I haven't felt the need to play any other basketball game since NBA Jam on Sega Saturn (1995, I think?). Did I miss much?
If I want something more realistic, maybe I'll play one of the NBA games on Dreamcast.
