Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Unofficial PC Port V1.4.3 Released

The team behind Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PC Brazil, the unofficial PC port of the PS5 Spider-Man game, has released a new version of it. This new version packs numerous fixes and visual enhancements, and below you can find a gameplay video from it.

The modding team improved a lot in version 1.4.3. For instance, it updated the Web and the Windtunnel Shaders. It also fixed and improved the Symbiote Shaders. This version also updates the Fullscreen Effects Shader for Top Speed and fixes the NPCs’ Skin Shaders. Players can also look forward to more shader fixes and fewer placeholders in this update.

Right now, this unofficial PC port of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 seems to be in a pretty good state. Don’t get me wrong, there’s still a lot of work to be done. However, for an unofficial PC port of a triple-A PS5 game, this already looks and feels incredible. It’s really astonishing what this modding team has managed to create. As I’ve already reported, the game no longer suffers from major stutters. You might get some stutters on less powerful PC systems, but high-end PCs can get an enjoyable experience.

It’s also worth noting that the game also comes with several graphics settings to tweak. So, in theory, you should be able to improve performance on mid-tier PC systems by reducing them. Nevertheless, I suggest taking a look at the PC requirements that the modding team shared a while ago.

This whole thing started from a leaked PC dev build, which didn’t have any shaders or textures. So, with that in mind, this latest PC version of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 looks phenomenal. And, in case you’re wondering, yes. You can play it from start to finish.

Sony hasn’t revealed anything official about bringing Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 to PC. Still, we should expect it to hit the PC in FY 2025. Or at least that’s what the recent Insomniac leak hinted at. If I had to guess, I’d say this game, Demon’s Souls or God of War: Ragnarok will be the next PS5 game we’ll get after the release of Ghost of Tsushima.

Finally, we won’t allow any links to this unofficial PC version of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. However, I’m certain that most of you will be able to find it. All you have to do is search for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, version 1.4.3 and Fitgirl. Just be careful though with what you’ll be downloading.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

  1. Maybe I’m missing something here. The game has only been out for 6 months on PS5 and Sony probably is planning a PC port in the future to make perhaps hundreds of millions of dollars from. The unofficial PC port has been in the news for several months now and apparently it now performs better than the PS5 version. Some of the code for this port was stolen from Sony. Why is Sony allowing this to continue?

    1. because sony is not nintendo, nintendo hired denuvo devs to put drm in their games so you cant emulate them, sony doesnt even bother putting denuvo, the propaganda is more important than sales.

    2. I doubt Sony would make ‘hundreds of millions’ as in plural. The game is a nothing burger just like Horizon Forbidden West. I honestly have no idea where those $300 million were spent on the game.

      1. It’s just speculation on my part for PC sales but after a quick check it appears the game has sold over 10 million units on PS5 so far. afaik Sony has been selling the game for $70 so that would be around 700 million dollars in revenue on PS5.

If the game only sold 3 million copies on PC at that price it would be hundreds of millions in revenue.

imo Sony would be foolish to not release it on PC but it wouldn’t be the first time they walked away from the table and left money just laying there.

Personally, I don’t care either way. I wouldn’t buy it even years from now for $15 on a big sale like I buy all AAA games.

      2. That 300 millions came from the the total sum of all employee of guerilla during the time of HZD Forbidden West in the make.
So its mostly the cost of running guerilla as company not actually the cost of only the programmer and the artist making the games, but also their CEO, their blue haired HR Dept and community manager, SBI like consultant company (edit: its SBI themselves actually), probably include one time contractor in South east asia they order to crunch making some generic assets (its probably only tiny small fractions of it), and their marketing/promotion cost (ads, paying influencer/youtuber, etc)

    3. Who told you that Sony is “allowing” it to continue? The videos get taken down as well as discord servers, and what is Sony supposed to do if the people making this aren’t dumb and actually cover their tracks? They can’t do anything except DMCA strikes.

Also, this thing runs terribly and it’s half broken, and probably based on some old build. Hardly relevant, it would be a different story if there was a leak of some near-final internal PC port.

      1. “thing runs terribly and it’s half broken…”
You clearly never tried this yourself, its way more in a better state than last of US part 1 initial ‘offical pc port’ release

  2. So Modders are doing better job port a game than the official Devs? WoW! this is why PC gaming are always Fun

  3. “All you have to do is search for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, version 1.4.3 and Fitgirl”
    Its DODI, not Fitgirl

  4. “All you have to do is search for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, version 1.4.3 and Fitgirl”
    Its DODI, not Fitgirl

  5. They are spending a lot of time and effort to get this mediocre (at best) game to work and it is not even worth it.
