Cyberpunk 2077 new feature

Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.0 will release on September 21st

CD Projekt RED has announced that the highly anticipated Update 2.0 for Cyberpunk 2077 will release on September 21st. In order to celebrate this announcement, the team shared some new gameplay trailers which you can find below.

Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.0 will revamp the game’s police system, and it will bring major Combat AI overhauls. Additionally, it will have over 100 new items – weapons, cyberware & fashion, dozens of new story quests and gigs, as well as endless dynamic events & missions. This update will also bring support for NVIDIA DLSS 3.5. Furthermore, CD Projekt RED will introduce vehicle combat and mounted weaponry, redesigned cyberware and perks, it will increase the level cap, and will add all-new relic skill tree and abilities.

CDPR’s lead scene programmer has also stated that this new version of CP2077 will have better CPU multi-threading capabilities. According to Pierscinski, Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.0 will be able to use up to 90% of modern-day 8-core CPUs.

Lastly, modder “Half Hogan PL” will release a new version of his Texture Pack for CP2077 in October. My guess is that Cyberpunk 2077 HD Reworked Project 2.0 will be compatible with Update 2.0.

Enjoy!

  1. And the new dlc is like less than a month later? Sounds like a bug festival, 3 years later lol And more starphking in this dlc too smh totally not necessary should have spent that money paying more devs or higher quality ones, QC testing etc

    1. Launches less than a week later, all the 2.0 features are pretty much features from the DLC, only being released separately first before the DLC story becomes available.

      1. yeah but a week isn’t too much lead time for ironing out bugs so then you get the inevitable bugs which maybe they think they’ll iron out in the dlc as a further update, hm ok well the track record says otherwise but maybe they went out and hired quality people along with the gutter celebs too, smh.

  2. Sounds like there’s more than just the stuff that they should have shipped with the initial release but didn’t manage to because they wanted to rush it, but I guess we gotta wait and see what it really is.

  3. Not all that sure I’m interested in returning to the world of Cyberdyke 2077. I did not have the best experience first time I played it. Had a pretty serious game breaking bug that crashed my game at an exact spot every time. Had to wait 3 months before it was finally fixed. Left quite the sour poo taste in my mouth.

    1. Something tells me 2.0 and the new DLC will bring a new collection of bugs, some may even be game-breaking. You’re probably better off waiting until patch 2.1 or later.

  4. “In order to celebrate this announcement…”

NO ONE should be celebrating this crap until it’s released and has been shown to actually improve the game and NOT add tons of bugs!

I sure hope they add enough ESG components into the DLC! Otherwise I just won’t even bother attempting a playthrough (after waiting for more mods to remove the newly-added tra*ny flags & posters shìt).
