  1. John, why no articles on the sudden release of Voidtrain and also what about fresh Firmament news and the Age of Empires II DLC. come on man, we know this is a sidegig and you’re just messing around.. but… it’s still disheartening

    1. The lack of articles on what I ate today for lunch is really disappointing.
But you don’t see me complaining like a little b*tch with main character syndrome.

      1. do your parents know that you’re commenting on adult sites instead of doing your homework?

          1. do your homework, so you’ll get a proper job, a nice wife, maybe some kids. I promise all the liberal depression and angst will go away.

      1. A character you look for called Bill is hinted to be gay (Ellie finds some spicy men magazine). Ellie kisses her girl friend in the DLC to establish her ‘sexual orientation.’ That’s about it.

Remember, this was released in 2013 when the world still had some sanity. The sequel is full blown woke crap.

        1. the world was not sane in 2013. it was just before we finally started exposing all the woke garbage going on

    1. I hate to be the one to say that Part I don’t have that many woke stuff in it, specially considering this release didn’t change anything about the story.

I even considered the way they handle David’s relationship in the couple chapters he’s in really well. It’s not in your face.

      1. are you forgetting the gay scene between two little girls? Wtf is that about. Idc if it’s in the DLC, they still rub this trash in your face.

    1. Liar liar pants on fire. Or are you really telling me you bought the 3090 to play at 1080p and low settings? Doesn’t make you look any better though.

      1. Hey, I have the 3090 and the game runs at 80-85 fps easy on QHD and all ultra settings… with DLSS set to quality… and it dips down from time to time, though that seems to have been mostly fixed with the last two updates. My money was well spent, I bought an excellent GPU only to not get to even 100 fps. So what if I have to cry myself to sleep now.

        1. I also played the game on a 3080ti (same chip set) and encountered barely any issues at 4K.

it’s the “I didn’t experience any problems” part of his comment that I take issues with. because the game does in fact have issues and not a single PC gamer can claim he didn’t encounter a single issue.

          1. Yeah, that’s for sure, though I’m guessing that some of the people who say they didn’t notice any issues are probably thinking the stutters and frame drops are normal. Seriously makes me wonder how God of War Ragnarok or Spider-Man 2 or Horizon Forbidden West will run on PC. Only Sony ports that I think were fine are Days Gone and Returnal, everything else has been problematic.

      2. I don’t think he is lying, cause I pretty much streamed this game day one with no issues on maximum settings with a RX 6950 XT.

    2. A toaster could run this game. It’s about being a mess, not about your GPU or CPU power. The game wasn’t complete. That’s what this is all about, an incomplete mess.

    1. We always re-benchmark games at the end of the year for our Top/Worst Optimized lists.

  2. Tested with my GPU. Now it runs way better compared to the launch version. They knew it wasn’t ready at launch. The video games industry will continue to do this and it’s really sad. The consumers are the beta testers.
