FSR oh yes

“Replaced dynamic resolution with FSR and added option selector on PC”
WHY THE FUQ WOULD ANYONE DO THIS? Why replace when you can just add. Options people, options.
FSR2 is better than TAAU. Why wouldn’t they do this.
Just booted the patched game up. You can still manually downsample the rendered resolution at least.
Performance increased to 60-90 range for me when running 4k resolution+Ultra presets with FSR Balanced. The game still stutters a lot, but that might be owed to me running it off a HDD. If I can be bothered I might move the game install to a SSD and test it.
My specs: i5 12600, Geforce 3080, 32GB DDR, Win 11.
I heard it got downgraded hardcore in order to solve it’s problems. Not only heard, the patch notes before said something about them taking that approach. Thanks for the info as well.
game came out in 2019 and still needs fixes for stutters, flickering and bugs? LOOOOL embarrassing aF
