Team17 and Trepang Studios have announced that their upcoming FPS which is heavily inspired by Monolith’s FEAR, Trepang2, will release on June 21st. In order to celebrate this announcement, the teams have also shared a new trailer that you can find below.
In Trepang2, players can dodge bullets, sneak in the shadows, punch, kick and slide while unleashing their deadly gun skills on the bad guys.
Players can slow down time and dodge bullets while they perform mind-blowing & badass combat moves. Alternatively, they can use cloak to become invisible, sneak in the shadows and snap their enemies’ necks.
Lastly, you can go ahead and download a demo for it from here.

I’m curious about how many improvments they did to the game.
Some animations were bad, and optimization was only good in closed super tight areas, helipad and the base from demo run poorly.
I also hope that the quality and variety of missions in the single player campaign will be good.
From they discord and from some people…. I know for 50% that the game is supposed to have a solo and co-op horde mode with objectives and some story, very similar to spec-ops from MW3.
I only saw and played a very very pre-alpha version of that.
Didn’t you read this article? There is a demo you can download and try.
the devs of this game are some dudes having fun, worth supporting.
this game has the potential to be really great
I remember playing the prototype/alpha version couple years back…this has potential to be a good fun FPS.
Devs should change the game title if they want to sell more than 3 copies. Sounds like a cheap mod for a little-known game.
