Resident Evil 4 Remake - new screenshots-1

New Resident Evil 4 Remake vs Original Graphics Comparison Videos

YouTube’s ‘Evil News’ has shared a new comparison video between the remake and the original versions of Resident Evil 4. This new comparison is based on the game’s latest gameplay trailer.

I’ve also included below another comparison video from GameV. In this other comparison, we get to see Luis Serra rescuing Leon and Ashley. And, surprisingly enough, Capcom has censored that cut-scene. In the remake, Luis does not mention at all Ashley’s ballistics. So yeah, that kind of sucks.

Joking aside, these comparison videos will give you a glimpse at the changes that Capcom did to the game. They will also give you an idea of the graphical improvements you can expect from the remake.

Resident Evil 4 Remake will be a complete re-imagination of the 2005 game. The game’s storyline will be the same as the one from the original title. Thus, players can expect to be fighting the Ganados.

Capcom plans to release Resident Evil 4 Remake on March 24th, 2023. The game will also have Ray Tracing, and you can find here its PC system requirements. Furthermore, Capcom will be using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

    1. 2nd one for sure. I agree UI is everything. That’s part of the reason why Fallout’s pipboy menu is so iconic.

Modern day development is all cookie cutter because everyone uses the same graphics engine and most of the time the work is done by contract workers now. So there is no signature feel or style from a dedicated team.

It’s the same with almost every industry now, the heart and substance has been exchanged for profit margins and corporate bullshit.

  1. I’m looking forward to this, but i’m not blown away by the textures. Also the rain looks really bad. Didn’t RE7 and RE8 have better graphics?

  2. Lol they put more cloths on Ashley and took out the camera angles that zoom in on her female features. Damn didn’t think a Japanese team would cater to the woke mob. Sad times to live in.

      1. Her design may have looked underage, but she was 20 years old (born 1984, game events 2004). She was kidnapped while on her way back home from college.

Not that ‘age’ of digital characters stopped anyone from doing anything.

        1. They don’t need excuses, they can make pedophile graphic novels involving prepubescent children because it is legal there, which for me goes too far, but i would be down with banning all pornographic material as well.

        2. Its not an excuse, they only say that stuff when they want to cater to western young men, the legal age in japan is like 14 or 15 , if you’re from the U.S they would seem totally alien to you, but to them….that’s totally normal.

        3. She does look 30 year old in this remake, tough i never find the original super attractive, just annoying.

        1. You can’t bang a virtual character, and the internet is filled with real j*rk-off material, no need to ask a videogame to be you c*m dumpster, hope that helps

          1. I would be down with banning j#rk-off material of all sexual orientations, but what does that have to do with the original RE4 again? In fact, why are you calling users pedophiles for wanting a character that resembles the original? That’s just insane, now i am a pedophile for liking RE4, according to internet nutcases.

      2. Stop projecting your sick thoughts onto other people. If you can’t separate reality from fiction that’s your issue loser.

    1. “original was underage as hell and it always was very epsteiny in the first place.”

I don’t think so, she already had secondary sexual characteristics (the infamous “ballistics”), and the game is about rescuing a girl, not trafficking them, so it got nothing to do with jews or US politicians.

    2. Stop projecting your sick thoughts onto other people. If you can’t separate reality from fiction that’s your issue loser.

      1. All he did was compare the original version and the remake, if you think Capcom are sick for making the first game, take it up with them.

    3. Yeah Japanese devs, content creators and all the industries (Except anime & manga) are now bowing to woke mob, unfortunately. I think the reason is the global content is going to get heavy backlash from vocal minorities (they are not even buying the game anyways). Recently one of the japanese streamer Pikamee was harassed so much that she had to retire from streaming. The reason being she just announced that she was going to play hogwarts legacy. This is getting crazier by the day

  3. I’m glad the RE4 texture mod improved on the graphics department, making this remake totally redundant, unless you hate RE4 and think it needed changes.

  4. “Capcom has censored that cut-scene. In the remake, Luis does not mention at all Ashley’s ballistics. So yeah, that kind of sucks.”

The game is a remake, not a remaster, so the charges of censure don’t carry the same weight, because they always change things in remakes, and the script is the first casualty. For example they added lots of swearing in the RE2 and 3 remakes, which wasn’t there in the original, so is that inclusive censoring?

But come to think of it, they did censor the VR version of RE4 if i’m not mistaken.
