Amnesia The Bunker feature

Amnesia: The Bunker releases on May 16th, gets official PC requirements

Frictional Games has announced that the next part in the Amnesia series, Amnesia: The Bunker, has been delayed until May 16th. The team was originally planning to release the game in March 2023. Additionally, Frictional Games has revealed the game’s official PC system requirements.

According to the specs, PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i3 or AMD FX 2.4Ghz with 4GB of RAM and an Nvidia GTX 460 or AMD Radeon HD 5750 / Intel HD 630. The game will be using the OpenGL API, and will require 35GB of free hard-disk space.

In short, this game will run on a huge range of PC configurations. Just don’t expect it to push the graphical boundaries of PC games.

    1. Yet it look just as good as games requiring hundreds of dollars more gpu just to look the same as console games. Stay mad Nvidia shill. Shove your 4090 up your ar*e

      1. And you missed the point by 42069Km.
You see Johnny Boy, 680 is not on par with RX580.

I’am not talking how the game looks (btw is not looking amazing).
I’am not a Nvidia shill you dumb moron.

You two are dumb like shoe.

  1. I’m very interested in this one as a huge fan of The Dark Descent and SOMA.
The setting looks right (didn’t like Rebirth) and it tries guns for the first time ever, which i hope is a stepping stone to a more sofisticated horror shooter.

Interestingly, notice how many things it’s NOT:
    – fortnite or a catch-all looking game for all ages
    – a cheesy playstation game for weebs from janky japanese studios
    – a dumbed down formulaic console game
    – a fad chasing cash grab
    – woke trash
    – microtransaction infested crap
    – a bugfest from the usual devs

    1. Maybe.
But the game is not even looking that good, there is no open world, it’s just linear corridor horror “shooter”

      1. Open world doesn’t make a game look good. Open world is garbage and busy work. In this day and age I welcome linear game. Open world games create the illusion that you’re not doing the same 5 things over and over when indeed you are. For the last 15 years we’ve been bombarded with open world, I welcome a linear project with clear and present focus.

  2. Finally weapons! After playing the first part and Outlast I was tired of the whole genre of hide and seek horror games with (illogically) no option for self-defense. They simply wasn’t very fun to play nor convincing and I never looked back. In Condemned: Criminal Origins the protagonist would at least take some blunt plank or metal pipe or what other item could function as a weapon.

But now seeing this, I’m intrigued to give the series another try!
