Insomniac Games and Nixxes have revealed the official PC system requirements for Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered. The teams have also detailed the game’s PC features, confirming that it will support Ray Tracing effects and NVIDIA’s DLSS and DLAA techs.
Going into more tech details, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered will have ray-traced reflections. Reflections will have varied quality levels, one of which is a new, higher-quality ray-traced mode that offers even more city detail.
The game will also have customizable settings for SSAO, texture filtering, LoD quality, and shadows. PC gamers can also expect support for windowed, full screen, and exclusive full-screen rendering modes.
Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered will release on August 12th, and below you can find its PC system requirements. These specs also include the targeted resolutions and framerates. So yeah, kudos to Nixxes for offering such detailed PC specs.

Not bad, let’s see which PS game is next
Uncharted 4, Lost Legacy, Miles Morales, Last of Us, Returnal, Sackboy, Demon Souls, Ghost of Tsushima, Horizon Forbidden West, GT7 + Bungie’s next IP.
Thanks for sharing but I mean’t from the unannounced ones haha sorry my bad
Everything after Last of Us are actually unannounced and were leaked.
But if you want surprises, I think TLOU 2 is an easy guess & Ragnarok can be included here as well.
For older PS4 titles, like inFamous Second Son or Killzone ShadowFall, chances are less.
Unless they make Nixxes revisit them.
That would be awesome, cant wait.
Returnal and Sackboy already have Steamdb entries. It’s just a matter of time until they’re announced.
bloodborne?
Why would they bother with Gran Turismo if PC gets way better racing games, but in the f4gg0try aspect Sony is still unmatched.
dunno … its not officially announced yet for PC but it was in GeForce leak
I have said “better” games in my pc library BUT Gran Turismo is it’s own beast. I’m a GT fan ever since the second one. I specifically chose the PS version of my Logi g29 so that when I get a PS5( just did, waiting on it to arrive) I can play Gran Turismo 7 with a proper wheel! There’s only like 1-2 PC racing games that go as deep as GT as far as customization goes, ie gear ratios, suspension stiffness, camber, etc. That’s the stuff I like! If GT7 came to PC, of course I’d get it no doubt.
Since they don’t specify which rendering API they are using, I’m guessing the game will feature both DX11 & DX12 (for ray-tracing).
Will be interesting to run them through DXVK & VKD3D-Proton, respectively, for all the Vulkan goodness.
All the goodness of loossing 20-40% avg fps lol
here comes another ps5 overrated exclusive
honestly this and uncharted are the best ps4 exlusives, god of soy or daddy of war was borring and so was horizon on top of sucking.
edit this comment was disliked solely because these two fgs dont like me, not what i actually said. Marvelous.
They’re both shlt games.
If you have to pick one, obviously it is GoW. That’s what he meant I think. Otherwise, this new Daddy of War: Parent Simulator is ultra mega @$$ compared to the original GoW games. At least in the new one they gave us the Arcade style mode.
sorry i cant play games with shoulder fov and slow paced combat with 2 weapons.
Isn’t Nadine an Arab same as you? You give the definition of brown uncle Tom a run for his money latex.
Sure, Berber, Phoenician or whatever you want to call yourselves. If you come to Europe or go to America, you will not be considered “white”.
Days Gone is alright. There is only token diversity representation in a mixed race rug muncher couple. Be nice if someone modded them out somehow. Has to be said that that the 4/5 stealth/follow mission are fuckn a$s. They need to go too.
durka durka coming up with -200IQ takes as always.
Nah Latex. You disappointed me this time my friend. How can you forget the Watch Dogs PS4 E3 demo that was never released!!!!
Sweet, I imagine it’ll be similar for Miles morales. already played this one.
6900 XT: 4K30 with RT on High
6950 XT: 4K60 with RT on Very High
Sure. Too bad they don’t specify a minimum DirectX Feature Level (11_1?, 12_0?).
The max settings look wack.
It’s 2 games in one?
It bothers me how these developers think 60 FPS is e glory. In 2022 I refuse to play anything less than steady 120 fps. 60 FPS is choppy and very outdated as a standard. I’ve you play at 120 fps it’s very hard to play anything below. Don’t give a damn about 4k, it’s about fast refresh rates. But nevertheless, I probably won’t be playing this cause we know it ain’t coming to GoG. I don’t buy things I don’t own.
Eh, depends on the game. The impact from 60 to 120 isn’t as universally felt as 30 to 60.
Ryse for example. 120 fps does nothing in it vs 60.
Absolutely not, it’s like night and day
Oh it’s felt man. Maybe this is a subjective issue but I feel it.
Going back to 60hz monitor is same as going back to 30fps. I’d rather just not play games if I had to.
Well said – exactely my thoughts. i play rather 1080p 120 fps than 60fps in 4K
I’m with you man, I own two 4k projectors and have worked in the tv industry for years, I cannot see 4k for some reason. Don’t understand the fuss. But what I can see is 120hz vs 60hz and 1080p@120hz is the sweet spot. Got me 6800 XT early this year and I can’t go back to 60hz. Before that the only game I could run 120hz constantly was Warframe on my Vega 64. Can’t wait till more powerful GPUs hit because I would like to play Cyberpunk @120fps on max.
“In 2022 I refuse to play anything less than steady 120 fps”
Unfortunately, many games are stuck to 60, some older games, even lower
I understand the feeling though, going from 120 to 60 feels extremely stuttery in comparison.
Yeah I noticed that when I went to boot up Wolfenstein new order. I was like WTF, now I just can’t play the game. So damn stuttery. I started visiting older titles and they are sh*t in the refresh department. For example, one of my favorite MP to play is Mass Effect 3 and if you change the fps in that game three enemies hit 4x as hard and way more accurate. They crab walk even faster. For years I wondered why the PC version was so much more difficult than the console version. But it actually made me an elite player.
Try playing Fallout 1/2 or C&C
It’s around 24/30 FPS
Give something like Half Life a try though, that sh*t runs smooth as butter due to constant updates by Valve.
>when I went to boot up Wolfenstein new order
Tell everyone you’re a cuck without telling everyone you’re a cuck.
lol Sr. chalice go get a life you depressed MF always crying
Well, I know its a bit late but anyway….
There are many gamers like me who can’t have latest hardwares every year, so I agree with you that being 60FPS is not (and should not be) a big deal but at least our current low/mid hardwares manage to run wide variety of games on 60FPS.
75GB in size
jeesh, it will be 100GB by the time it is patched several times over
even a 1TB SSD will soon be too small to hold 10 games
Remember when devs cared about compression?

It was 46 gig on the PS4. WTF?
Nixxes are there. So no major patches will be there. They really are extremely reliable in porting.
Unlocked frame rate is a feature now? Jesus.
Nixxes with another bad PC port? The game already was very well optimized because
the game runs in 1080p30fps on base PS4, which has terrible Mobile CPU and ancient AMD HD 7770 GPU… (close to 660ti)
Meanwhile for VERY LOW 720p30fps you need better PC.
The game is pozzed, but was fun to play…until they wrench Spiderman away from you and make you play as some ho’ journo, and then as a half jogger/half taco bender token boy.
$60 on Steam for a 4 year old game, they’re taking the piss with that pricing.
No doubt it’ll still sell like 1 million copies within its first month. There’s a still hoard of normie, mindless CONSOOMERS amongst the Steam userbase who’ll swallow any old cr4p.
Okay. Let’s have a look.
FREE SPACE: 75 GB free space (don’t even get bothered by the mentioning of SSD. it’s just a marketing perspective). Definitely more high res textures, better audio (maybe) and possible new assets. Time will tell.
RAM: the ram requirement is nothing more than a placeholder throughout the requirement tiers. 10 GB is more than enough for even the ULtiMaTe RaY TRacInG (but as you cannot find a combo of 8+2 GB, they have to put placeholders like 8+8 GB/16 GB). Same thing happened with Dad Simulator: Norse & Ice Axe
CPU:
very low > i3 4160 2C4T 3MB Cache 3.6 GHz
medium > i5 4670 4C4T 6MB Cache 3.8 GHz
very high > i5 11400 6C12T 12MB Cache 4.4 GHz
RT high > i5 11600K 6C12T 12MB Cache 4.9 GHz
RT very high > i7 12700K 8P4E20T 25MB Cache 5 GHz
Clearly the very low and medium settings scale with cache and NOT with Physical core counts & frequencies. Meaning, if you can manage some good DDR4 sticks anything from & above 3600 MHz (good latency timings obviously), i3 4160 is sufficient. With very high at 4K60fps, it is a GPU exercise & therefore, the slightly more available counterpart of i7 8700K which is i5 11400 (i5 10400 will work just fine if you can manage one) is on the list. The remainder high settings have CPUs that advertise latest releases from Intel & nothing more. end note:stick to your 8700K if you have one.
GPU:
very low 30 > GTX 950 2GB G5
medium FHD 60 > GTX 1060 6GB G5
very high UHD 60 > RTX 3070 8GB G6
RT high 4K30 > RTX 3070 8GB G6
RT very high 4K60 > RTX 3080
the lowest 720p30 requires a bare bone GTX 950 with its primitive G5 memory which can easily be translated to its big brother GTX 970 4GB for a 720p30 high settings. So scale up to 1080p30, you will be needing a GTX 1050Ti with settings better than PS4 ones (& can combine PS4 Pro settings). Moving to 1080p60 with the same settings, a GTX 1060 4GB G5X module would have done that job but 3GB & 6GB G5 are only there. Scaling upto 1440p60, a GTX 1080 8GB G5X will do it. Move onto 4K30, GTX 1080Ti 11GB G5X will hit it. lastly at 4K60, you will be needing a GTX 1080Ti with G6 modules. Since there is no such card out there, 2070 Super is the way to go. For RT enthusiasts, the RT configurations might have changed vastly from those PS4 settings. But a RTX 2080 Super is sufficient to run it at 4K30 at RT High settings with.
Things are considered with the fact that NIXXES has worked on it & they really scale things nicely.
Cant wait till next year to play this game!
