Ninja Theory has shared a brand new WIP screenshot for Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2. This screenshot showcases the Djúpalónssandur beach in Iceland. From what we know, Ninja Theory rendered this area using photogrammetry as a WIP screenshot for the game.
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II will be using Unreal Engine 5 and will release on current-gen platforms only.
Unfortunately, Ninja Theory has not shared any additional information about this game. We do know that, once again, we’ll be playing as Senua. The game will be also set in a dark fantasy world inspired by Norse mythology and Celtic culture.
We also don’t know when this game will come out. However, and since it’s using Unreal Engine 5, we can safely assume that it won’t be coming out this year (so we are most likely looking at a 2023/2024 release).
Stay tuned for more!

I hope they change the gameplay. I tried out the first Hellblade game via Game Pass and it was terrible. The WORST puzzles I’ve ever experienced, very bland combat, and terrible Unreal Engine-related asset stream stutter every couple of steps. Terrible, terrible experience.
Yup UE4 is just awful for many games on pc (some can be fine though), i too had really bad stuttering every few steps, didn’t matter if i used dx11 or dx12 in the enhanced version and they still never fixed it ,was such a bad experience i now no longer care for the sequel
But da graphix!
Strange, I have played this game one week ago and I dont recall any stutters. In ghostwire tokyo I have noticed small stutters from time to time, but not in hellblade.
Iceland looks so generic. Why the fxck do they think people need more of it??
More interested in Iceland than this comment.
Can’t say for the entirely of iceland, i mean one ice based level is nice but the entire game not so much.
Its actually pretty fitting and wild country for game like Hellblade. There are some nice locations. They did dev video about it:

Looking forward to enjoying the devs hard work, sweat and tears with a $1 trial of Game Pass LOL
