Modder ‘Flowgroover’ announced an unofficial sequel mod to the original Crysis game, called Crysis Back to Hell. Crysis Back to Hell will take place right after the ending of the first Crysis game, and will release on December 11th.
According to the modder, this mod will have the same sandbox gameplay that most Crysis and Warhead fans enjoyed. Crysis Back to Hell will have 4/5 levels, and promises to have a quality level design. Additionally, the modder claims that your decisions may affect your playthrough (whatever that means).
Furthermore, the mod will have many gameplay improvements and new features. Not only that, but it will bring new enemy types, both for Aliens and Koreans. There will also be an optional Gore option that players can enable.
Now since this is a mod, I strongly suggest tempering your expectations. While it sounds great, you should keep in mind that this is a mod, made by one person. Thus, do not expect it to be better or as polished as Crysis 2.
Lastly, and in order to showcase the mod, Flowgroover released the following trailer.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

10 years too late.
Not really, i think it’s the best time, since most/all the new so called games are garbage. To have something like this is a pretty cool and good thing, but the question is this for the original version or the nonsense new one?
I agree, also the mod is for Crysis Wars (The MP standalone bundled with Warhead) it’s obviously not for the garbage remaster as it has almost no mod support
these mods should have come out 10 years ago, now no one cares about crysis, it didnt became as moddable as other games from that era or prior to that. At least with other games they make total conversions and not just levels.
“no one cares about crysis”
I don’t care about 98% of new games but i care about old games and Crysis is one of them.
i care about games older than crysis.
yes my point is this mod should have come out 10 years ago. Like the games you pointed out. Also do they still make mods for unreal tournament?
I took a dump today. News! Now why dafq don’t you answer my email? Do i need to pay you to post my YT channel?
To be fair, Crysis 2 isn’t a very high bar, so I’m hopeful that it will indeed be better.
Well, Crysis was never a good game, to begin with, so anything coming from that MOD should be good enough to those who enjoyed the series.
The graphics that presented back in 2007 were revolutionizing. Sure it had technical problems mostly with the AI but overall the game was a solid tactical FPS.
Oh! AndwAnd you didn’t need to unlock/upgrade your Suit just to get that “rpg” stamp on its name. You had it all from the start.
Thrown into a jungle. Survive.
Yep, it had everything a tech demo needed, and, of course, lack the game part.
The game was fine, for a 2007 military shooter.
Being from 2007 is not an excuse, we have had better games in 1987.
