Saints Row feature 2

Saints Row has been delayed until August 2022

Saints Row was originally targeting a February 2022 release date. However, Deep Silver and Volition have decided to delay the game until August 23rd, 2022.

According to Jim Boone, Chief Creative Officer at Volition, the team needs more time in order to finish the game.

“Our priority is to create the best Saints Row game yet and, if we released on the original date, it wouldn’t be up to the standards we’ve set ourselves, and that you’re expecting and deserve.”

This delay is mostly due to COVID-19. Volition claims that they underestimated the impact COVID would have on their schedule. The team also claims that it will use this extra time in order to fine-tune the game, and that there won’t be any major change in it outside of overall quality and polish.

Saints Row will be a third-person action game, and promises to have the most in-depth character creator in any Saints game. Furthermore, it will have more voices than any other Saints Row game for The Boss. Volition has claimed that there will be eight voices to choose from (4 male and 4 female voices).

Players will be able to save their custom cars in a garage. As the devs noted, vehicle customization is huge in Saints Row, with more options than ever before. Moreover, the game will support co-op. However, it won’t support cross-play between different platforms.

Stay tuned for more!

  1. “This delay is mostly due to COVID-19”

They really think we are this stupid? Game looks hot garbage and got blasted by everyone, this is a last-ditch attempt to avoid a disaster

        1. They will always find an excuse for their failure instead of recon they are offering a poor product covered in propaganda.
Now covid, next one is climate change…is going to be fun.

  2. I for one am shocked that a game prioritizing “diversity” over anything else is having development trouble.

      1. Ostensibly, it’s for the visually impaired. In reality, it’s just another pathetic attempt at virtue signaling.

    1. People can try to justify almost anything. I’m sure that NAMBLA (North American Man Boy Love Association) can try to justify their perverse ways too.

      1. NAMBLA founded the gay rights movement. Then the other homos kicked them out in the 1980s when they became politically inconvenient.

        1. What NAMBLA wants is absurd. They advocate pedophiles, pederasty and the abolishment of Age Of Consent Laws. They make the LGBT community look tame by comparison and that’s saying a lot.

    2. You can only pick a body type in Halo: Infinite multiplayer. It also lets you use whichever voice you like and pose the masculine body in female poses.

    3. You would think is a parody of this clown world…is not 🙁
I wonder what the future generations would think when they’ll look at that video, i want to be optimistic but is hard when you see something like that.

    4. You are a true survivor. You watched 3 minutes of that s?h?i?t?s?how and did not get hospitalized with dementia. Congrats.

  3. As a privileged toxic cis white male, I’ll be doing my part to help increase the diversity of the player base, by not buying this game.

  4. I thought Saints Row would get delayed because it was being released between Horizon: Forbidden West and Elden Ring.

  5. Their last game, Agents of Mayhem, also saw a huge delay and still launched as a broken, unpolished hot mess. Game development is an IT industry, thus it can be made 100% remote. COVID-19 delays is a fake excuse. They probably staffed the studio up with incompetent diversity hires after Saints Row 4 released in 2013. Post SR 4, They bent the knee to that fake nerd grifter Sarkeesian after all. https://archive.vn/kwb78
