Diablo 2 Resurrected has just been released and its first gameplay mod has just appeared online. Created by Zander, this mod attempts to bring some Quality of Life improvements. Moreover, it aims to make the game less grinding, which is a great thing (at least IMO).
Now do note that this mod is only for single-player mode. Do not attempt to use this mod while playing online, as it may get you banned.
Going into more details, this gameplay mod allows you to teleport in town. It also increases the stack size of tome and key (100) and bolt/arrow (500). Furthermore, all equipment types are available in gambling, and the cow level does no longer require the wirt leg. Lastly, less exp is required for high levels (exp gain is not slowed down).
In future versions, the modder aims to bring far greater drop rate for unique and set items. A future version will also have greater drop rate for high level runes, charms, jewels, keys. Additionally, it will change some of the really rare items to be more common, and the really common items to be less common, and will increase the monster level so more monsters/areas can drop the highest level items.

There’s actually an enemy multiplier mod as well that makes the game ridiculously hard XD.

In fact, even admitting the heresy, I wanted/needed the modernised D2. Modernised with a skill toolbar (controller sucks though) and stackable potions in the belt, cause those two things were a nightmare even when i played it at release. I love the game anyways but I’ll wait for that kind of mods, if we ever get them.
(I don’t care about online and would just only play the campaign once or twice.)
Sounds like diablo 2 may just not be for you, if you want every QoL improvement over the last 20 years of gaming try out PoE or something

Old trick, hold shift and press left mouse on potions and they will go into belt.
Yeah, but you have to do that orderly all the time from inv to belt…
What’s the point if it’s for single player only? With lan play removed there is no point to playing single player. Just use a char editor and make yourself lvl 99 with two jordan rings.
Mods that remove the male feminist virtue signalling censorship would be good. (I still wouldn’t buy it, f*ck modern day Blizzard. I’d just play the OG game with HD mods.)
Why would you install this? The whole point of an ARPG is to grind for incrementally better gear and not get it for fkin free.

@John Papadopoulos – it would be good to get an official reply from Vicarious Visions/Blizzard about potential bans due to using the officially included methods of modding. I’ve tried to contact them myself, but have not received a reply yet.

I guess this is good for people that just want to get to the end and be done with it. I played the original for many years and wouldn’t change any of that. Sometimes I wish there was a map you could pull up of the area you’re in but the mini map is just fine too.
