Cyberpunk 2077 Gameplay Rebalance Megamod is available for download

Modder ‘Scissors123454321’ has released a full gameplay rebalance megamod for Cyberpunk 2077. This mod attempts to overhaul numerous aspects of the game, such as the AI, armors, perks, melee, player stats, weapons and more. Additionally, it brings numerous gameplay tweaks and enhancements.

Going into more details, Scissors123454321 has tried to rework as little as possible and focus mostly on bug fixing and numbers balancing. Therefore, the modded version should be “close to the feeling of the vanilla version.”

By default, this mod introduces the following changes:

  • AI Improvements and Enemy Balancing
  • Armor and Armor Mods
  • Cyberware
  • Explosives
  • Food Drink and Alcohol
  • Gameplay Mechanics
  • Healing and Drugs
  • Melee
  • Perks
  • Player Stats
  • Ranged Weapons
  • Quickhacks
  • Vendors and Pricing
  • Weapon Mods
  • XP and Gigs

This mod is compatible with Patch 1.3 which came out a couple of days ago.

Now I strongly suggest reading its description as it details all of its improvements, enhancements and changes. They are a lot so brace yourselves for a wall of text.

You can download this Full Gameplay Rebalance Megamod from here.

Have fun!

        1. Why are you responded to such an old comment?
I am not really much on gaming these days anyway.
But I would say The Witcher series, Assassin’s Creed.
Anyway, my opinion on Cyberpunk isn’t as negative as it was when I made this comment.

  1. CDPR is turning into Bethesda: selling janky unfinished games hyped up to high heaven and expecting modders to fix it and fill it up with content and better mechanics.

    1. You’re right that they are turning into Bethesda. But releasing janky or unfinished games is not even the worst part.

The problem is when they outright LIE about features that will be in their games.

      1. That’s exactly the reason why I stopped reading CDPR developers’r interviews right after Witcher 3 release. It had its fair share of “embellishment” too.

  2. I would say both are good “modernizations” of the OG one (yeah, they are dumbed down…but the core and essence is there). They are their own thing still, and Adam Jensen is a good character, i want to play his third game.
The first Deus Ex was so ambitious, that any sequel compare to it cant even get close to that level, is almost unfair.

      1. The first one is an impressive piece of software, still fun to play today. At the time there was nothing like it setting wise (mechanically is on par with System Shock 2 or Morrowind), but that world…and characters, even the story, just among the best PC can offer.

  3. Happy i torrented this pos i played it for 3 hours and got rid of it and after they said they were done improving the trash performance i said i will never buy it then.

  4. People think they’re so clever washing the taste of CDPR d*ck out of their mouth and stuffing it with some idiotic modders instead. It was like this with all those cruddy ‘overhaul’ mods for witcher 3 too. I’ve learned not to let either party waste my time. Can’t build a cathedral on a shoddy foundation.

  5. To be honest guys, this game is just unfinished and needed a lot more time before it actually released. There are some genuinely good ideas here and I must say that the first part of the game (with Jackie) wasn’t that bad, but then they killed Jackie off way too early and everything just goes downhill from there in terms of the story which is so disjointed that it isn’t even funny. Not even Keanu Reeves could save it.

Perhaps the developers should have done what Rocksteady did with Batman Arkham Knight – they removed the game and republished it when they dealt with all the bugs.

  6. Cyberpunk was supposed to be the only open world games I would need, while waiting for gta6…
Like in gta5, when 2077 was announced, I started dreaming of a gigantic city, located in some sort of island, with hundreds of square miles/ km of deserts, mountains, lakes, beaches, other cities… where I could just grab a cab, car, helicopter, or any other vehicle, night and day… and just spend hours and hours, driving in those beautiful places.
I wanted the game to have hundreds of quests, dozens of miti games, and sports, from simple poker or darts to bowling, tennis, pool, etc etc.
I wanted to be able to hunt or fish, and spend tons of hours doing it, like rdr2..
I wanted tons of quests protected by special enemies, with special skills and armors, that only ultra rare weapons and ammo could destroy, after spending hours trying to find rare blueprints , scattered all over the map…
I wanted ultra smart and powerful enemies, that would require a ton of special bullets, special skills, and special guns…

I wanted to spend 300 hours on it, doing quests, killing bad guys, collecting stuff, driving cool cars, etc etc… and when I would reach the end, I could start over, make different choices, play another 300 hours… and even get new endings….

I wanted this game to be perfect.
    And then, they release it…

The disappointment was so big, I’m afraid of even getting it for free , and playing it…

Damn, they had over 7 years to make a fantastic game…!
Don’t know why and where, but I’m sure cdpr must have wasted 2..3..or even 4 years of dev time, doing something… and probably they didn’t like it, and had to start from scratch.
The 2-3 years they probably lost, was the time that was needed to make a perfect game, probably game of the century…

    So sad…
