NieR Replicant Remaster, NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139…, is now available on PC and as we’ve already informed you, its animations are tied to its framerate. As a result of that, the game plays faster with framerates higher than 60fps. Thankfully, though, there is a mod that addresses this issue.
Created by modders Ersh and SkacikPL, this fix will allow you to play the game with higher framerates than 60fps. And, to be honest, it’s hilarious that modders are fixing what the developers themselves could not.
In order to install this fix, you’ll have to extract all the files into the game directory (steamapps\common\NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139\), where the game .exe is located. Then, you’ll have to set the fFPSCap value inside dinput8.ini to your FPS cap/refresh rate.
You can set the fFPSCap at really high values, even when using a 120Hz monitor. According to the modders, the game does not breaks if you are below the target. However, the game will still speed up above the fFPSCap you set.

Also note that you can download SpecialK in order to fix some other issues. For instance, you can use SpecialK in order to force VSync.
