Capcom has launched the Steam store page for Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin and revealed its official PC system requirements. Moreover, the company has confirmed that it will be using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech.
According to the specs, PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i5-3470 with 4GB of RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650. The game will require 28GB of free hard disk space, and will be using the DX11 API.
Capcom recommends using an Intel Core i5-4460 with 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760. Capcom also claims that the game targets 1080p/30 FPS. Now I don’t know whether this means a framerate and resolution lock/cap at those settings.
Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin will release on PC on July 9th.

Denuvo on what is essentially a mobile game. JFC, Capcom.
It’s MOBILE GAME the source comes from MOBILE.
After mobile the game went to Switch also mobile now comes to PC
They just took the mobile code, selected “PC” , “Denuvo” in Unity and hit recompile.
+ Added plenty of telemetry, that’s why there is in game lenty of EULAs, data tracking etc.
No, it’s a sequel to a mobile game, but developed for the Switch and PC. Not a ported version of an Android/iOS game or anything like that.
First game was a 3ds game :/
Fair enough.
It’s a mobile game. Switch is essentially a tablet, but its roots are in genuine mobile all the same.
I like how some people easily forget or not acknowledge its 3DS origin and that Capcom can flesh Stories 2 out. They can and probably will include more in it than the mobile and 3DS versions of the first Stories. Why? Because it’s not just on the Switch. It’s also on the PC and has a price ($59.99 standard) that they can only justify with a console style/size game. Besides, they will have more info for us on the 27th. BTW Switch being a tablet, therefore it’s easier to label games on it as mobile, is a bad argument. Geez, it’s crazy how they made Doom a “mobile” game. The Witcher 3 and Skyrim too.
They just played themselves
In meantime: pirates will emulate switch version without any protection. GJ
Additional Notes: This game is expected to run at 1080p/30 FPS.
Performance already killed by denuvo??
Hey Denuvo, Empress wants a word with you.
Of course it is, studies show piracy helps sales.
nah it works as intended, most anti-piracy measures only need to last for a week as its when majority of sales happen. Like it or nor denuvo usually delivers that. We can talk how sh**ty it is etc but for devs it gets job done.
name denuvo games cracked in hours, only few were cracked remotely fast by empress
Additional Notes: This game is expected to run at 1080p/30 FPS.
welp. Looks like its going to be pirated by the masses.
i don’t even know this game exist.
