    1. So, bringing an old classic that was lacking in every way graphicly and compatibility on newer systems, and this is a cash grab? Yeah, go back to playing with your self Mr. irrelevant!

      1. It looks like a mobile game. In no way does this hold up to modern, similar titles. The sad thing is we will continue to get garbage such as this with moronic supporters such as yourself.

  1. Actually looks pretty good. I assume this is probably going to be a full price release tho and I really have no desire to spend more then $20 on this.

  2. Looks faithful at first glance although at second glance it misses the point in terms of lighting. The original had this cold, damp feel and the new one changes the direction of the sun for no reason and makes everything look warm, lush. Diablo 2 should not look welcoming.
I would say the assets are on point and keeping the gameplay intact means a lot when it comes to remasters. You can fix my issue with a simple reshade, except for the sun direction which is just a very odd decision. Perhaps having specular glare on everything introduced aliasing or made unimportant things “pop” too much. There has to be a reason since it’s such an obvious difference.

    1. correct me if i’m wrong. i think this is more of remake than remaster. since the original is 2d and this one (at least character and monster models) are 3d.
But i have to agree on the atmosphere. Maybe if they add weather effect such as storm and lightning will be better.

      1. well regarding the boobs i have to agree. The sorcerer in the original have some of the boobs visible below her shirt. The original amazon her boobs bigger too. and i’m a simple man, i like bigger boobs better.

        1. It’s not that noticeable and if they wanted to censor them believe me, we’d all be able to tell. they’re not going to be like ok we reduce the tyt size but we’re going to leave out those thick thighs.

          1. I haven’t seen the remake version of andariel. Curios if they gonna censored the boobs and nipple piercings/chains or not. My guess is they gonna redesign andariel with armored look or something.

  3. Saw a bit of it in action on Twitch, just to see how it plays and all. I’ll happily stick with the original.

The price they’re asking for this thing, is just hilarious, to say nothing of the online tether it requires.

Ya, I know it says there’s an “offline mode”, but it’s Activision. Does anyone really want to take them at their word? Their own page for the game has “broadband internet connection” as a requirement.

All this, and then you have the ugliest characters they could have possibly designed, as the cherry on top. Really now……

  4. Unless you’re a Blizzard/Chink bootlicker, I really can’t see what the appeal in this thing could ever be.
