Microsoft has announced that it will hold its first /twitchgaming Showcase, ID@Xbox, on March 26th. During that event, the team will reveal new trailers and gameplay from STALKER 2, Second Extinction and The Ascent.
As Microsoft announced:
“We’re featuring tons of independent titles, including brand new game announcements from developers and publishers such as DrinkBox, Curve Digital, Devolver Digital, Dear Villagers and others. During the showcase, we’ll debut new trailers and gameplay for more than 25 games, including S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, Second Extinction, The Ascent, The Wild at Heart, Voidtrain, Exo One and many more. We’ll also be making announcements about independent titles coming to Xbox and Xbox Game Pass. Community-favorite Twitch Streamers will host the showcase and conduct interviews with developers, take fan questions and maybe even drop some game codes.”
This event will begin on March 26th at 9:00am PDT. Those interested can watch the /twitchgaming Showcase: ID@Xbox exclusively on Twitch at Twitch.tv/twitchgaming or Twitch.tv/xbox.

Cheap advertising
Free advertising and later biased reviews from them… what’s not to like from the publishers/devs pov? Reason i don’t follow twitch streamers at all (beside the fact that it ruins the games, how fun is it to play when everything is already known before starting), the twitch streamers/reviewers simply have way to much brand bias over true “journalism”
Where are you finding “true journalism” lmao…All of the gaming outlets out there are bought and paid for, and even ignoring that, they’re simply terrible at what they do, really the only thing that’s still relatively trustworthy is certain independent youtubers.
Many are but there are still a bunch who really say what they found during the review gameplay. I generally don’t care much for the paid/got free review copy reviews no matter what platform they post their reviews on as that causes bias already from start and it have to take some integrity not to let that cloud the judgement.
100% agreed boss. Simply put, I can’t Stand them. As for the journalist, they don’t even exists anymore. So we’re basically on our own these days.
I’d be excited for STALKER 2 if I already didn’t know it’s going to be gimped to consoles and UE4.
Right now STALKER 2 is the only upcoming game i have any interest in.
I’ve been playing STALKER Anomaly recently and its fantasic, very punishing but fantastic none the less.
I just need STALKER 2 to be good.
As long as it has mod support all can be fixed.
