Kena: Bridge of Spirits releases on August 24th, gets new gameplay trailer

Ember Lab has released a brand new gameplay trailer for Kena: Bridge of Spirits. Moreover, the team revealed that the game will release on August 24th.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits aims to seamlessly blend narrative with exploration, puzzle-solving, and fast-paced combat for a beautiful, immersive journey.

This gorgeous adventure takes players on a journey of self-discovery. In this game, Kena will restore balance to an ancient village in a once-thriving environment. Players take on the role of Kena; a young Spirit Guide on a quest to uncover the mysterious story surrounding the demise of the village. Using her staff and the help of her collection of tiny companions known as the Rot, the player will disarm adversaries, unlock new skills, uncover secrets, and restore the beauty of the land.

One of the most unique aspects of the game revolves around enhancing Kena’s abilities with the help of her Rot companions. Building a bond with the Rot leads to a deeper, more organic combat and a nuanced skill evolution.

The game was originally meant to come out in Holiday 2020. However, and due to the COVID19 pandemic, Ember Lab delayed it until Q1 2021.

  3. It’s pretty cool that videogames are approaching pixar quality cutscenes and animation in realtime. Feels like I’m playing a movie (in a good way).

  4. Very promising game. It´s so good to know about this breath of fresh air.
It brings me back the feeling of Zelda long time ago, when i cared about Zelda.
