Grand Theft Auto San Andreas gets a 4.6GB AI-enhanced HD Texture Pack

Modder ‘Kadakash’ has released an AI-enhanced HD Texture Pack for Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. This pack is 4.6GB in size, and uses AI techniques in order to upscale all of the game’s texture by four times.

Going into slightly more details, this mod improves the textures of all weapons, vegetation, decals, pedestrians, UI and skybox. Do note that since this an AI-enhanced Texture Pack, the new textures look similar to the vanilla ones. So, while the new textures retain the same art style, they are not THAT much different. Still, we are pretty sure that some GTA: SA fans will find it interesting.

Alongside the aforementioned improvements, this mod packs thousands of bug fixes, as well as support for widescreen resolutions.

You can download the mod from here. You can also find a comparison video between the new and the vanilla textures below.

Enjoy!

  1. “This file has been quarantined and may be unsafe. Please contact a moderator or email us”

ITS NOT AVIABLE ON NEXUS ANYMORE …. WTF ?

      1. Why would we use “mirror links” to download a mod with potentially malicious software on it that got booted off a legit site. Probably not the best idea to be promoting that kind of stuff.

        1. mirror site = easy to share download link. if your a scared little p**sy a*s b*tch, then dont f*king download, this icludes you jeremy cuz you obivously dont understand security AT ALL or thast u can Scan sh*t etc, imagine being jeremy SMDH

    1. Hey I made the modpack, it’s not just AI textures, and it was removed from nexus for that, being a modpack.

I updated the download links with more stable version and made a tutorial

I’m currently recording a longplay where you can see in detail what changes were made that weren’t shown on the original comparison:

  2. Oh wow, it’s a night and day difference for most of the textures. Much clearer while still retaining the vanilla aesthetic. I really like the train, some artistic liberties were taken there and I think it paid off. Still, 4.6gbs is a pretty big file size for what it does.
