Watch Dogs Legion October 30th Update promises to improve PC & RTX performance

Ubisoft has announced that Watch Dogs Legion will receive a brand new update tomorrow. According to the team, this patch will bring RTX and overall performance improvements on the PC.

According to the release notes, the October 30th Patch will bring several improvements to PC performance. It will also optimize performance to improve framerates for RTX GPUs. Additionally, it will improve the framerate performance when driving.

Since this PC performance patch may significantly improve performance on both NVIDIA and AMD GPUs, we’ll slightly delay our PC Performance Analysis. I’ll be also sure to re-test DLSS and Ray Tracing, and see whether there are indeed any meaningful performance improvements.

Lastly, here is the full changelog for this upcoming performance patch.

    1. honestly its good game, maybe even better then good. Yes its cringy etc but boy its million times better then Watchdogs 2 and it really looks good with raytracing. It could run better i guess but its completely playable for me in 3k, balanced dlss and mix of ultra/very high setting with raytracing on very high. But most important thing is that its fun to play.

Also i find it funny that on site dedicated to pc mustard race gfx most ppl seem to have toaster rigs and constantly whine that nothing runs as it should on ancient hardware or are some walking meme that will not play game unless it runs at least 200FPS.

  1. Fernando and Daves, probably never played UbiLag games before, sure they do fixes, tweaks but performance fixes? Dude game gonna boost from 2-5fps that’s all, you gonna get better AVG FPS, overall experience will suck.
All they previous games never had fixed performance problem, not gonna mention about multi thread or proper GPU utilization or too much draw calls

    1. Note sure about Daves, but Fernando seems to comment on everything purely to say positive things about whatever game or company the article is about, pretty similar to a bot, so don’t mind him, haha.

  2. Ubisoft it is a trash company you never had 100+ fps in there games, you need 1000$ video card, so you can max the settings and get decent fps, so f…there games!

  3. il buy it ” in the day blood raind from the skies and televisons become sentient beings that grow wings” so its a never
