Official weapons trailer released for XIII Remake

Microids and IGN have shared a new trailer for the upcoming remake of XIII that focuses on the game’s weapons. This remake of the world-famous cel-shading FPS, will release next month, November 10th.

In XIII Remake, you play as the famous Thirteen, accused of assassinating the President of the United States. Our protagonist will wake up, suffering from amnesia on Brighton beach, and the only clues to his past will be a small key and a mysterious tattoo of the Roman numerals XIII on his collarbone. As such, it’ll be up to you to find the answers during this 34-level solo game.

From what we know, The Playmagic Team aims to modernize the graphics, sound and animations of the game. However, this remake will also remain faithful to the original game. Not only that, but the team will also rework XIII’s gameplay mechanics in an effort to modernize the experience.

Enjoy!

    1. environment looks more detailed so do the weapons but the characters just have a cellshades filter around them. It doesnt look like a comic anymore. Its too detailed. But hey the game was good if they fixed the awful combat it could be fun, but it needs an ending the game had no ending.

      1. I see that in Game Informer / IGN no one complain about anything, it’s always rainbow, people are ok with anything and everything… Maybe it’s good for you and people like you.

        1. “Maybe it’s good for you and people like you.”

What people like me? Care to elaborate?

One comment and it’s all about “pEoPlE lIkE yOu”

    1. Yeah I remember the blood being more present, you can see in the footage there is no splatter or anything after the shots are fired, very weird!

  1. Cel-shading aside (not my cup of tea) who the hell buys all those golden weapon skins?

I mean do some people want to play their own Saddam fantasy? It doesn’t make sense in most games, it doesn’t fit in Deus Ex MD and it won’t here.

    1. Yup!
The original had so much comical blood splatter…it was amazing!
What else can you expect in today’s world of f4gs, qu33rs, and SJWs?!

  2. “However, this remake will also remain faithful to the original game. Not
only that, but the team will also rework XIII’s gameplay mechanics in
an effort to modernize the experience.”

LOL this is a direct contradiction.

  3. What a dissapointment Remake in 2020, i was hoping for a bald black lesbian woman as the protagonist. Piece of trash.
