Mike Morhaime, former CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment, and a host of industry veterans today announced Dreamhaven. Dreamhaven will create and publish original games for players around the world, and it has established its first two studios: Moonshot and Secret Door.
Dreamhaven CEO Mike Morhaime said:
“I’m excited to team up with such talented people who care deeply about games and their communities. I’ve always believed in the power of games to bring people together regardless of backgrounds or boundaries. With Dreamhaven, we look forward to creating and sharing new experiences with players everywhere.”
The team at Dreamhaven came together around a common goal to empower creators, help bring their ideas to life, and create original gaming experiences that foster meaningful connections between players.
It will be interesting to see whether the first game of Dreamhaven will be a hack n slash action RPG. It will be also interesting to see whether these two new games will look as good as most triple-A games.
Stay tuned for more!

John is the founder and Editor in Chief at DSOGaming. He is a PC gaming fan and highly supports the modding and indie communities. Before creating DSOGaming, John worked on numerous gaming websites. While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. John has also written a higher degree thesis on the “The Evolution of PC graphics cards.”

So this Real Blizzard might be back…
So glad to hear that Mike Morhaime is back again 🙂
I can tell you one thing: it’ll all be multiplayer trash
-multiplayer
-loot boxes
-it will be full of RNG to make players addicted
-they will force players to log in every couple of days to maximize XP / gold / loot / card packs… whatever… so they remain addicted
-they will have a forum where addicted players keep asking themselves why they keep playing the game they hate
-developers won’t interact with anyone, because they have better things to do, like driving around in their ferraris

Pretty sure the honest OG Blizz devs have left the game industry a long time ago or work at studios they don’t want anyone to know their past roles.
You lost me at Blizzard.
if it’s a MP loot box style RPG, it can jog on.
Uncle Kotick : Grow child grow so i can buy you.
so they’re gonna compete with the other blizzard founded studio, bonfire games.
maybe they should merge.
he was the head glad he is back
When Morhaime stepped down as the President of Blizzard, everybody knew it was about Activision, and here’s pretty much the proof.
