TRIALS of MANA feature 2

Trials of Mana has significantly exceeded Square Enix’s expectations

During its Investor Q&A with Yosuke Matsuda, Square Enix revealed that Trials of Mana has exceeded its expectations. In case you weren’t aware of, Trials of Mana is a full, high-definition remake of the third entry in the classic Mana series.

As Square Enix stated:

“Sales of “TRIALS OF MANA” are so strong that they have significantly surpassed our initial expectations. In regards to
catalog titles, we are seeing growth in digital sales from our library, especially of titles featuring our core IP, and this is
despite not engaging in any special promotions. In addition, unrelated to HD games, revenue generated from one-off
sales of smartphone games also grew in 1Q.”

As we’ve already reported, Trials of Mana uses the Denuvo anti-tamper tech. Square Enix is also offering a demo that PC gamers can download via Steam. Furthermore, the game has Very Positive reviews on Steam.

In other news, Square Enix has very high expectations for Marvel’s Avengers. The publisher will focus on the GaaS aspect to deliver compelling add-on content post launch. Moreover, the team aims to build excitement around the game through live service content and updates.

Lastly, and even though we haven’t seen a lot of mods for Trials of Mana, there is already a nude mod for it.

which was cracked but…GASSP… game still sold

  2. Seen a lot of these articles lately where “X game, exceeds company’s expectations”. It’s almost like these companies are terrible at gauging public demand for games. Almost………. right?

Something tells me that won’t last long

      1. i mean the characters are all under age like the average anime and they are extremely oversexualized if you cant notice it then i feel sorry for you lul

        1. What do you are complaining about?
better to see crossfited macho-woman, like the new TLOU char?
What´s the problem about woman look feminine these days? woman don´t want to look like woman anymore, is it?
Well… to be sincere, i understand you about the age. I aways though that those anime girls are creepy, looking like child and it´s a very bad feeling. but not in TOM, even in SOM. There, the protagonists are teenagers that grow up through the game and become strong adults (can you imagine a paladin/swordmaster, valkyrie/dragon master, grand devina/rune master as a child?). Only Carlie fits it.
I don´t like almost all animes because i agree with you, animes have that disturbing asian fetiche, but disagree about this game in particular.

          1. yea im ok with oversexualized woman in games, just not EVERY woman and not high school girls like tends to be the case with japan

          2. I liked Tomb Rider reboot. Not oversexualized Lara
and not so badass-hulk-girl version of her. Strong yet vulnerable, beautiful yet not sexual object.

  4. one of the
    BEST
    GAMES
    EVER
hope SE do Seiken 4, but in the correct way, not like that Legend of Mana thing
