Asobo Studio and Focus Home Interactive announced that A Plague Tale: Innocence has sold over one million copies worldwide. Unfortunately, though, the publisher did not reveal any platform-specific sales numbers.
David Dedeine, Chief Creative Office and Co-Founder of Asobo Studio, said:

Every day more and more players are discovering the story of Amicia and Hugo. That is for us the greatest source of motivation. As part of the Steam Summer Sale, A Plague Tale: Innocence is now available for purchase with a 66% discount.
It’s also worth noting that the PC version of A Plague Tale: Innocence is great . The game runs and looks well on the PC platform.
Lastly, Asobo is reportedly working on a sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence.

The game is kinda weak though.
Not a bad game, but forgettable.
Playing through this game felt like a chore.
Brain-dead simplistic and unsatisfying gameplay, annoying “puzzles”.
Forgettable characters and pretty weak writing.
They were basically trying to emulate Naughty Dog games or something, but at a fraction of the production value and with none of the entertaining spectacle and set pieces, or smooth gameplay.
It had quite good graphics considering the budget and dev team size, but that’s not hard to do using UE4.
I cannot understand how anyone can praise the narrative in this game and say it’s worth playing for that alone…

I didn’t like the first and wouldn’t even waste my time with the second, but I don’t feel the urge to talk about it all the time.
The game is bad because they are talking about all the crap that surrounds the game, but not the game itself (because there’s barely anything to talk about it beyond what people already knew from the leaks).

The only unique thing that game has going on is the uggo buffed woman named Abby (and a female transexual), the game even copy a final moment from MGS4 but did it way poorly…the little gameplay it has barely “improved” (and also copy MGS V. the prone is too OP in TLOU2 too) from the original back in 2013…you are delusional.

Very good game with a fantastic art style.
I also thought it was cool. Some parts dragged and were a bit too slow, but still a fantastic story and game. Kind of cool how a small studio made it so beautiful and with its own engine too.

Yeah, the fact that this game from a small studio instead of a AAA studio is the best thing about it. There aren’t enough such single player experiences on PC, so I’m grateful Asobo decided to make one. Take that PlayStation exclusives (which I also enjoy, but on a friend’s PS4 instead of buying my own just for exclusives).
Ever since the Witcher 3 i’ve never enjoyed a game like i enjoyed Plague. I was slowly losing my will to game and still am. It was a delightful journey and we are getting a sequel. DRM-FREE as well BABYYYYYYYYYYY!!!
Good news. This game deserve it. Maybe Asobo is one of the few western dev this gen that not follow wahmen character style…

Plague deserves way more 5 milllion sales + Absolute Blast to Play with amazing story amazing characters voice acting environmental detail all top notch with Goregeus Stunning Graphics, (with no downgrade ahem cd projekt red witcher 3)
