Kena: Bridge of Spirits was one of the most interesting games that were revealed at the PS5 reveal event. As we’ve already reported, this story-driven action adventure game will be coming to the PC via the Epic Games Store. And today, Epic Games revealed its official PC system requirements.
According to Ember Lab, PC gamers will at least need an AMD FX-6100 or an Intel i3-3220 with 8GB of RAM and an AMD Radeon HD 7750 or an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650.
Ember Lab recommends using an AMD Ryzen 7 1700 or an Intel i7-6700K with 16GB of RAM and an AMD RX Vega 56 or an Nvidia GTX 1070. The game will also require 25GB of free hard-disk space, and, surprisingly enough, will be using the DirectX 11 API.
The team did not reveal what resolution, graphics settings and framerate these PC requirements target. My guess is that the recommended specs are for gaming at 1080p/High with 60fps.
Kena: Bridge of Spirits is coming to the PC later this year!

Wow! Next gen requirements!
I wonder going forward if certain games will have SSD as a requirement.
The new RE game already stated that somewhere…if I’m not mistaken.
Microsoft already confirmed low level access to SSD in new DirectX. No more NTFS
With DirectX low level access to SSD without file system data read will be much faster than today. DirectStorage also support hardware decompression and this will also available on PC (confirmed by James Stanard, GPU architect at DirectX team)
DirectStorage is an all new I/O system designed specifically for gaming to unleash the full performance of the SSD and hardware decompression. It is one of the components that comprise the Xbox Velocity Architecture. Modern games perform asset streaming in the background to continuously load the next parts of the world while you play, and DirectStorage can reduce the CPU overhead for these I/O operations from multiple cores to taking just a small fraction of a single core; thereby freeing considerable CPU power for the game to spend on areas like better physics or more NPCs in a scene. This newest member of the DirectX family is being introduced with Xbox Series X and we plan to bring it to Windows as well
Hope so…at least a SATA 600 SSD minimum requirement.
This was expected from an indie multiplatform release. Min specs are pretty low. More people can enjoy this game.
1070 for what seems like an indie game is a tad high, though.
Did you watch the video?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OxzWlIbnp3U
It basically looks like a DreamWorks movie but is a real time video game. Considering how it looks and the FPS I think that is a really reasonable spec, 1000’s series is now are two gen back and as We know the 3000s will be coming out in a few months which will make a 1070 look like a potato.
Anyways, I will be getting this one for sure for I love the look of it and am really thankful it is not a PS5 exclusive.
Minimum: Any Torrent Client
Recommended: qBittorrent
don’t you ever get tired of this , repeating the same thing for one year evey day on every post with epic mentioned in it either you are a bot or you really have nothing better to do with your life
only 8gb card for those graphics? SWEET!!!
No SSD required? ?
really low even supports win7
I’m way above those requirements but glad to see more people will be able to play it. That’s the way it should be.
Win7, nice
DX11, prepare for a lagfest with any resolution above 1080p.
Recommended specs for next gen launch game:
4 year old PC hardware
mkay
1080p 60fps so shut it child
Wild guess brought to you by:
This guy above
Stay tuned for the full specs needed then child, don’t forget the game supports ray tracing on the ps5 as well, 1070 doesn’t support ray tracing
1070 doesn’t support full DXR ray tracing, but it can do basic (low ray count) tracing which is likely what the PS5 will be doing.
I was referring to the PS5 version
I meant PS5, just edited it.
Check out the pc exclusives from the pc game show…
You need ps2 level hardware.
Be grateful you get console ports boi..
The PS and XBOX game shows were as much PC game shows as they were their respective consoles. Pretty much all of the most popular games played on consoles (Elder Scrolls, GTA, COD, Doom, HALO, Fortnite, Minecraft etc.) derived from PC, you should be grateful for those PC games or all you’d have is a handful of worthwhile exclusives for an entire gen.
That’s just recommended.
If you want Ray Tracing, you will ofcourse need something better but it is not required.
4 cores /8 threads are still relevant
”NEXT GEN PS5 GAME ” lmao, look this requeriments. Just another proof ”next gen ” games can run on actual potato machines.
You’re hating on optimization and scalability? This is a good thing.
These are specs for 1080p/60fps. This will be 4K 60fps on ps5. Now id like to see what pc specs you’d need to hit 4k 60fps. Go cry somewhere else child
4k 30 at best.
Thinks PS5 will be 4x faster than a GTX1070
My sides ??????
Xbox One X is definitively slower than a GTX1070, and XSX is probably only about twice as fast as X1X, maybe a tad more. PS5 is blatantly less than that.
At best it’s 1.5x a GTX1070 from four freakin years ago.
If those are 1080/60 on PC then PS5 would be lucky to get 1440p and 60FPS

And the last of us 2 looks better than anything on PC/Xbox and that game runs on less than 2tflops LOL. So no matter how much you want to bash the PS5 its gonna wreck all platforms, again, next gen. And thats the truth. Deal with it child ????
Lol no it doesn’t, only if you have never played any PC game ever. Clearly that’s because you know nothing about hardware.
It’s a 1080p 30FPS game, and only 1440p 30FPS on PS4 Pro. Go and play a modern 4K 60FPS PC game.???
Look at how a mid range PC stomps PS4 and PS4 Pro’s performance on Death Stranding and soon Horizon Zero Dawn, games specifically made and designed to take advantage of PS4
Of course PC still walks all over the PS4 versions comfortably…
you summed up ps5 event
“CONSOLE EXCLUSIVE”
*also on pc
Indie game.
Imagine still hating on consoles in 2020.
imagine still liking consoles in 2020 that they barely got any exclusives left, development cost is too high so far fewer games, they are not as sturdy and dependable as they were, pay for mp, constant need for patches and all they show in events is indie games.
This gen has been a complete JOKE.
But its 10/10 game from reviewer. So people (reviewer) love that depressing mess…
Oh look, another game featuring a strong female character.
This is so original. It’s only the 17th one I see since this morning.
Compared to the graphical fidelity and particle effects shown in the gameplay trailer, the recommended specs are pretty low. Seems like Ember labs did pretty well optimization.
